We spent one night here. Room was large, clean and adequate for our needs. The design of the room / bath is a bit different..might say contemporary. It was quiet. Parking is limited near rooms but plenty of spaces in back of one building. There was a small kitchenette with refrigerator, coffee/tea fixings and toaster, dishes, etc., large jacuzzi tub (didn’t use) and separate shower. Our room didn’t have extra toilet tissue, the roll on the holder was a bit 1/3 full, which is fine, but needed an extra. No breakfast available, but you can make your own if you have items. We made toast and coffee in our unit.

This motel is slightly away from the hubbub of downtown Taupo but easily within walking distance. It has ample onsite parking. The rooms were comfortable and clean and nicely appointed. The staff was friendly and helpful. A great base for touring all that the Taupo area has to offer.

We had a queen room with our own private courtyard. Room was spotless and bed was lovely, quality linen. Bathroom was spacious and also spotless. The small kitchen area was great with two cooktops, microwave, kettle, toaster and all you needed in crockery and cutlery. Staff were lovely at both front desk and cleaning team. We did a laundry wash and dry for just $10 and was helped in this with the staff. I would recommend this to other couples.

Hair dryer caught alight from all the dust and hair inside as well as the air conditioning unit hadn't been cleaned for a long time. The electrical safety test was last checked back in 2017 when we talked to the front desk their response was " I have been doing the maintenance for the last 6 months" sorry but it doesn't take 6 months to get a safety check and clean the appliances. Sound proof rooms, sorry but no they are not as we could hair other guests coming and going up and down the hallway. Shower pressure was extremely poor but the only good point we really found is that the room was clean besides the a/c and hairdryer. Sorry but don't think we will be back here anytime soon.

A very nice place to rest ones head The room was very clean and we were happy we stayed. Love the ability to have plunger coffee and also partner enjoyed the spa bath. Plenty of off street parking is available and it was a Pleasant 10 minute walk to the restaurant area of Taupo. The only thing I can fault is that the carpet where it meets the hard flooring needs attention (rm 18)

Family down in Taupo for Summer Concert. Booked two studio rooms. Good and spacious with very comfy beds and great aircon. The grounds are beautifully kept with several areas you can have a few drinks or do a barbecue. Very soundproofed with no noise whatsoever at night. Short 3 minutes walk down to lake front and a number of bars and restaurants. Directly over the road is a mini market for groceries that is well stocked and sells wine and beer. Also in the same block is a great little cafe for breakfast. Will stay here next time in town

The location was convenient within walking distance to the centre of Taupo also with a couple of shops across the road.
The room was clean and tidy, however some basic maintenance was needed. We couldnt use the shower easily as the attachment was broken, and seemed to have a cable-tie trying to hold it in place, which didnt work. Lights were broken as well as the rubbish bin. Motel staff were made aware of all these so hopefully the next family doesnt have the same experience as us.

We just stayed the one night during peak season, we were allocated a downstairs room and were pleasantly surprised with it. the room was spacious enough and it had kitchen amenities (sink, dish rack, small fridge, m'wave, cutlery and crockery) and a small dining tabele with 2 chairs. The comfortable bed was King size, Spacious bathroom but really could do with some shelves/ table or cupboard to put toiletries etc. The towel rack was also a tight squeeze for the bathtowels after use. The room had a lovely landscaped seating area with a couple of chairs and a small table for drinks. It was sunny in the afternoon but great place for a rea. There are also different seating areas outside, but the BBQ facilities are no longer there. I paid a very reasonable price for the room so was pleased with it and would look to stay here again.

The motel is conveniently located near to the lake front, it’s about 5 mins walk to the lake. There is convenient store directly opposite which I love it. Overall it is okay. My husband commented that the mattress was too soft. Spa bath in my room were not working when I collected the room key.

The room was clean and tidy; reasonably sized with a good sized bathroom. The bed was quite comfortable and the aircon and tv worked well. The little kitchenette was a nice addition however we didn’t use it.
The location was a 10-15min walk to the city centre and Lake Taupō was at the end of the street. Nice accomodation for the price paid.
