The motel room was spotlessly clean and the location central yet very quiet. The room was very well provisioned and generous access to the laundry was really appreciated. The managers, Jim and Rachel, were responsive to additional needs.

Our 1 bdrm unit gave us plenty of room, and was equiped with everything needed for our comfort. Our host was friendly and helpful. The location right in the heart of New Plymouth was quiet at night, and perfect for walking to areas of interest.

Bella Vista is a very accommodating motel and we will definitely look to visit again.
The hosts are friendly and approachable. They let us know that it was the last night of the light festival, which we hadn't realised, and we had a lovely night at the park. Our room was very clean and not cramped. We enjoyed the option of fresh milk rather than UHT for tea/coffee/hot chocolate. To top it off the TV had full Sky coverage, which was great while laying in the very comfortable bed.
Overall it was the best motel experience that we've had in NZ.

This motel is located a 2-4 minute walk from the Art Gallery, museum and nice restaurant area (Martha's is right across the road) which is the main reason we chose it but we loved our 2 night stay here - and it is very well priced too. Rooms and the whole grounds are immaculate, the hosts who have just taken over recently (Jim and Rachel?? I think) are a lovely friendly, and helpful couple. We had two nights there and couldn't believe how quiet this street was, plus we could park right outside our room in their carpark which was a bonus. We also borrowed bikes for a ride down the coastal pathway one morning which was great. Thanks guys, we'll be back.

Absolutely fabulous accommodation. Very handy to the central city area, with its abundance of fine dining restaurants and eateries. Quick and easy checkin with the very helpful, courteous manager. He was very helpful and eagerly regaled me with what was happening in New Plymouth during my stay. The room was well appointed, a comfy bed made for a decent sleep Multitude of satellite tv channels available. Awesome

A great motel used this chain a lot on our travels. Owners where pkeasent gent offered to carry case upstairs, which was a lovely gesture. The motel was a short walk to the centre of town easy walk to the beach and coastal walkway. Owners provide great knowledge of the area. Would happily go back.

This is my favourite motel in New Plymouth. It is centrally located and close to excellent cafes, restaurants and quality shops. It is also very quiet, so sleeping is no problem. The units are well appointed and exceptionally clean, and the staff are friendly and very helpful. My husband and I have stayed here numerous times, and we find it hard to beat.

Motel easy to find, has a central location in New Plymouth, and is comfortable and quiet. As with all Bella Vista motels, there is plenty of parking and unit was very well-equipped, warm and spotlessly clean. Super-comfortable bed,
Good value for money. Would definitely go back but another time would go for larger studio unit as the "compact studio" really suitable only for single travellers. Staff friendly and welcoming.

Yes. It was different speeds in different rooms but overall it was fine. If you have more than one device per person let reception know and they will increase your allowance. Eat at the Hour Glass and Monica's Eatery. Both amazing.
There are more places to choose from in the New Plymouth area.
