We have stayed a few times and we highly recommend. The rooms are well thought out, a lot of planning has gone into this hotel to make it so special and unique. Also located in a great area - near good cafes, art gallery, shops which are boutique style. I can even recommend the florist close by. The sea at your doorstep. The staff are very pleasant with a good sense if humour!

What an incredible place to stay, our suite was beautiful. So much interesting art all around makes the experience exciting. The staff couldn't have been better, went out of their way to make us feel special. The nearby cafés and restaurants were excellent too. Would absolutely recommend this establishment.

This hotel never fails to impress , everything feels luxurious from the decor right down to the fantastic local coffee provided and the perfect location with everything you need on your doorstep just makes it the the only place to stay in New Plymouth for us .

Outstanding in every way, highly recommend!!! Awesome location, excellent bed and facilities, shower water remains in the shower area not all over the bathroom floor. My pet hate whenever I stay anywhere else. Staff friendly and welcoming good job everyone keep up the good work.... See you again soon.

Incredible stay at the King + Queen Hotel. The location is very central, so it's perfect for walking out for dinner, getting your morning coffee or going for a walk along the foreshore. The staff are professional, friendly and attentive. Couldn't rate this place more. 10/10.

Always book directly with hotel for best deals. Very Modern and super clean and obvious that a bit of money has been spent to decoration and style. Very nice hotel. Lovely rooms, very modern and well appointed. Even though hotel is in city Centre there was no noise. Quiet rooms for a good sleep which is backed up with nice heavy dark curtains which block out the morning light. Bed was huge. Largest we have slept in. Lots of nice touches in room, local teas and coffees, small dark towel for the ladies for removing makeup. Lot of thought has went into this hotel to make it a destination as well as a say. Wish we could have stayed longer. Easy parking and lots of parking around hotel. Staff very friendly and professional.

This was our second stay and King and Queen Hotel. The hotel is located in a prime position for exploring the city. Restaurants and shops surround the hotel. From the minute we arrived to the time we left we received excellent service. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our queries prior to arriving were answered promptly. A return visit for us and it was as good as ever. The rooms and suites are tastefully designed with great contemporary art in a perfect location in the inner city across from the excellent Govett Brewster art gallery and Len Lye Centre, with excellent dining options right on the doorstep. We love Queen Victoria suite. Daniel has to be one of the best hotel managers ever! We loved that after a day's long drive, we could order wine and pizza, delivered to our suite from the adjoining Snug restaurant/bar options.

Friendly service and a clean comfortable room. A place to which I will certainly return. The neighboring food hall is useful, and it's also just over the road from the Monica cafe at the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery/Len Lye Centre, an interesting place to visit.

Amazing location - so close to everything. Great service and loved the little booklet you get with all the added discounts. We used it heaps - for the complimentary bubbles, desserts at Social Kitchen and the 2 for one for the gallery across the road. Great touch was the complimentary sweets at reception at night time. Couldn't fault it ! Will come back again and explore the rest of New Plymouth.
