Definitely recommend staying here! All aspects were great. Staff were very friendly and easy to talk to about any concerns or issues (not that there were any!) Facilities were perfect, especially as we have a young daughter who loved the warm heated pool! Rooms were immaculate and warm throughout! The whole experience was great and we will definitely be back! P.s those who don’t make use of the steam cooker, do not know what your missing out on lol. We did a mini hangi, fish, dumplings and dessert and all were perfect! Thank you to the Aura team!

The location can't be beaten - walking distance to everything we needed. "Eat Street" is just up the road, and great cafe's are a stone's throw away. The rooms are fine, the pool is great and the attitude of the team at Aura is amazing. Super friendly, happy to offer advice on activities and dining choices. They have an information board which they constantly update which gives current suggestions and ideas for activities. They go out of their way to be helpful.

We spent 4 nights at Aura and had an amazing time. The rooms were great for a small space. We would have gone for a bigger 2 bedroom but I left my booking a bit late and missed out. It was fine though. Staff were friendly and helpful with tips on where to eat & activities to do. The pool was a hit and was a good temperature (heated) and had a happy vibe the whole time. The location was awesome as it was a 5 minute walk to Eat Streat and the CBD. Parking straight outside our room. Would happily stay again.

We (couple with 2 adult children) stayed in 'Stella's Suite' for 3 nights. The communication from the time of booking was outstanding. Super friendly, relaxed and accommodating. The unit was well equipped, warm and clean. Loved the emphasis on recycling and composting. Disappointed we never tried out the outside steam oven - next time maybe! Aura is to be commended for their approach of thinking of the environment and helping not for profit groups in their community (via the 'send your service' option). Aura is well located and the staff are great at giving recommendations for eating and activities. We felt very relaxed and welcome during our time there.

Kia ora Leanne, thanks so much for your kind words! We loved having you all to stay and how great was it to be able to make that connection through Big Brothers, Big Sisters! We appreciate you noticing the hard mahi we are doing in the sustainability space, it will always be ongoing and an area where we are constantly trying to see what changes or improvements we can make so it is great to have that feedback from you, our guests! Can't wait to host you and the family again Leanne, we hope to see you all soon! Nga mihi, Team Aura
