I stayed here a week ago as my husband was having back surgery and the hotel was within walking distance to the hospital. The receptionist was so friendly and welcoming. I didn’t eat in the restaurant but had room service one night and the food was so tasty and soo much of it. We recommended our friends to stay here and they have already booked for November. We will definitely be back. Thank you Regents for a lovely relaxing stay in such a stressful time for me 🥰

This is an older style motel that has been completely refurbished. We had a two bedroom family unit. Good sized bedrooms & beds comfy enough. Lounge area is small though & would benefit from a change of furniture as the couch was not comfortable. Provided plates, bowls etc which was great & we could have breakfast in. Location is excellent - very close to Eat Street. Pool is good - warm. Overall a positive stay

Had a great one night (Saturday) stay in a Cutie room at the Regent. Bathroom was fantastic, loved the rain shower! Room didn’t have a view - could just see the side of the building next door - but I only needed the room to sleep so it was fine. Less than a 1 min walk to Eat Streat bars + restaurants, about 10 mins walk to the Rotorua mall and lots of shops in between. Because it’s so close to Eat Streat there was a lot of noise until the wee hours (booming bass) even with the windows shut so if you need to sleep on a Friday or Saturday perhaps ask for a room on the far side of the hotel? I’d had a couple of drinks so managed to mostly sleep through the noise fortunately. Not the hotel’s fault. Friendly and helpful service from all staff I encountered. Thanks guys!

Kia ora, Thanks for taking the time to post your review and your great rating! It's lovely to see that you enjoyed your Cutie room and the fantastic bathroom with rain shower. Our location next to Eat Streat and close to all amenities is certainly an advantage. As you say on the weekends this can mean those rooms closest are affected by noise from the bars. Luckily this affects very few of our rooms and as you say if when making a reservation you can request a room in one of our other blocks. We're delighted you enjoyed friendly helpful service from the Team. You're welcome! We hope to welcome soon. Warm regards, Christine McDonald, Hotel Manager.

Family of 4 stayed in a 2 Bedroom Exectutive Suite for 3 nights and loved it. Easy to book, friendly staff and easy checkout. Beautiful room, upstairs and overlooking the pool. Lovely and tidy and serviced daily. Up to date decor and poolside towels offered. Both bathrooms had a shower with the main bathroom having a soaker tub. TVs in both bedrooms and one in the lounge. We tried the mineral pool but at the height of summer we really just went to have a look. The pool however got a lot of use from us, before 9am swims and afternoon/evening ones to finish off the day. Beautiful sitting Poolside. Great location. We really enjoyed our time and are sure to be back.
