- Baby-Unfriendly Accomodation. Would NEVER stay here again - We were visiting with a group of friends (a couple with a 6-month old baby) and were horridly asked to leave this accomodation over a soiled bedsheet. My friend’s baby had by accident soiled a bedsheet (with a small stool leakage from her nappy) on our first night of accomodation here. The mother asked at reception (met by EDITH YAN- the owner of the property) if she could have the sheets changed. Immediately, Edith expressed anger and responded with NO and that they were required to clean sheets. Upon questioning Edith regarding how to do this (i.e laundry facility, products, place to hang for drying), she was met with deterring and incomplete answers with a growing frustrated demeanour. Upon hearing this escalation of a somewhat straightforward task, my friend’s husband became involved to assist with finding the correct solution. Edith then began hurling personal remarks about my friends parenting capabilities with “you should take better care of your baby” and “ you should know better to take ALL precautions when travelling”. She refused to change the sheets and heatedly walked off from the situation. Having their integrity questioned and such personal attacks, my friend’s husband then followed her to which Edith locked her reception door on him and said she will call the police. My friend knocked on the door (agreed with some frustration at this point) to which Edith left and did not respond. Given this couple are both doctors, they are well aware what is required to look after a baby and unfortunately accidents like this do happen. My friends did clean the sheets as a result. However, Edith and her husband Yue came back about an hour later to say my friends must leave immediately and she has called the police because she believed they were being aggressive towards her and were demanding for the sheets to be changed. We were taken aback and I tried to rationalise but this was futile. We packed our things and I requested a refund as we were supposed to be there for another 3 nights. Edith REFUSED to give me a refund for my friends room for those 3 nights and only offered one for the other room we had booked. Given such a small accident, NEVER have we been kicked out of any accomodation and this was a situation that escalated unnecessarily with a lack of compassion and understanding. We will never stay here again and DO NOT recommend this accomodation in Rotorua (especially if you have a baby).

Was advertised as pet friendly. Rang and emailed and informed owner we wanted to stay there for this reason and after them asking lots of questions about our dog we booked. Owner came over today, 2 nights into our prepaid stay and made a fuss and wanted my dog out of sight. (He was peacefully watching people wandering about in the courtyard outside our unit from his bed inside our unit.) Then the same owner had a screaming argument with a staff member for 40 minutes in the courtyard - I had had enough and we packed and prepared to leave. Husband went to point out as a courtesy that we were leaving and why - she lit up at him next. Not acceptable and will definitely not be going back or recommending to anyone else - quite the opposite in fact.

My husband and i stayed whilst attending a conference and the hosts were both amazing and took the time to have a chat and find out why we had travelled to Rotorua and what line of work we were in. Enjoyed coming home to the room clean and warm and the spa was amazing. Thank you both for the hospitality will definitely come back in future.

I stayed it this motel with my sister for a girls getaway, and luckily we choose this one. It was everything we could wish for and more. The unit we had was large, with a well equipped kitchenette and 2 large comfy lazy boy chairs, and a lovely outdoor spa. The room was beautifully appointed and very clean. Mark was very friendly and helpful and him and his wife do an excellent job of running this motel to the standard they do. Keep up the good work guys.

Theo owner is super friendly and welcoming, but unfortunately the room left a lot to be desired. The shelf in the kitchen was riddled with dead bugs and the blinds were thick with dust. The spa pool was very loud so we didn't enjoy it as much as we had hoped. The decor could use a fresh lick of paint to brighten it up.

Thank you Luuluu for taking the time to review us and your comments are noted. We do our best to strife for clean rooms and apologize for the dust and bugs in the room. The spa pools are generally loud as the air blower which generates the bubbles is noisy. Kind Regards Mike

We just finished our road trip and we would like to share that we really enjoyed our stay in ASURE Palm Court Rotorua. Mike and Anja are very friendly host and accommodating our needs with warm-hearted hospitality and greeting, which we really appreciated as we have a furry boy with us and seldom see pet friendly accommodation in Rotorua. When we had some questions before making a booking, they replied very quickly and they got us a lot of useful info about the area. I can see they are very professional and I feel I have already missed talking to them. A hot tub in the guest room is a big plus and the facility is well-maintained. We definitely recommend if you are looking for something special among a tons of motels in Rotorua. And we will return someday very soon. Thank you.

We booked a studio room at this particular motel some weeks in advance because of good reviews on Trip advisor and the details provided on their website seemed favourable. The pros and cons for us were as follows :- Cons :- The room is a bit disappointing with a strange choice of furniture placed in user unfriendly positions. There did not appear to have been much thought put into decor presentation. The shower, toilet and wash hand basin are all crammed into a very small area with seemingly unnecessary partitioning, which, together with the low ceilings give a claustrophobic feel. The large double bed is two single beds pushed together which made a noticeable ridge in the centre. Pros :- The owners are very friendly and helpful with plenty of time to stop and chat and after our late arrival Mike escorted us to our unit and even offered to help us unload our vehicle. Very good easy to use Sky TV coverage with multi choices on a nice size clear TV Very good quick, free unlimited Wifi The outside areas of the motel grounds are clean neat and tidy so was our room. Quiet - no noise from neighbouring rooms or from traffic on a busy road

We just stayed together with our family for the long weekend. Even though on arrival ther was an issue with 1 of our units. Mike and Anya welcomed us with enthusiasm mixed with sincere apologies, they also had the best fix they could offer being fully booked. Once settled this was followed up with a bottle of wine 🥂 we had an amazing stay in clean, comfortable and spacious units side by side. Anya was very helpful and even gabe our 3yr old grandson as many brochures as he wanted and was happy to chat with him. Mike and Anya we will definitely be back 😁
