This was a great affordable motel to stay in. With a full kitchen - fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster and induction cooker. Bathroom was clean and beds were comfortable. Room was cleaned in the morning so we came back to freshly made beds and new towels. Would recommend

I highly recommend Six on Union Motel in Rotorua W booked a twin room and were not dissappointed. We had a lovely one bedroom spacius unit. There was a single bed in the spacious lounge and a queen in the bedroom. The whole unit was very clean and presentable. There was heating in both the lounge and the bedroom. A special touch was the glass jug of milk in the fridge instead of the regular milk carton. We also enjoyed the bottled water in the fridge. A very reasonable price for a nice clean spaciouys unit

Owners were extremely welcoming, showed us to our room, room serviced every day, very clean. when leaving from the car park they assisted you to ensure you could do it safely. Close to all amenities. Will stay again next trip to Rotorua.

We were very disappointed in this motel. We had booked a queen studio room and when we arrived were told we had been upgraded to a one bedroom unit. It did have a separate bedroom but it was small and had a SMALL double bed and single bed in it (we had to put our bags on the single bed as space was so limited). The sheets were clean and fresh towels were provided daily. There were thick layers of dust in all of the corners and edges of the room, mould in the shower and the crockery & cutlery provided were filthy. I took some of the crockery back to the office and they washed it but we washed everything we wished to use. The motel is old, tired and dirty.

The most disgusting place I have ever stayed at. Rotorua was full. They upped their price from $90 to $360 per night. Shame on you. The place was filthy. Photos to prove it. I had a family bereavement so was desperate for a bed. This place should be shut down.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Filthy is an understatement The carpet flooring and kitchen benches were sticky and crockery was greasy. There are at least 10 resident cats. they are everywhere along with cat food bowls and litter trays. The room and laundry stunk of cats and the numerous stair gates on the property sat unused while the cats wandered in the open units before we checked in. When we arrived the room was full of flies and the brown bed covers stunk. The only positive was clean towels and sheets or we would have walked out. Do not stay here unless you don’t mind sharing your space with cats. This place should be closed down !!

Knew it was going to be bad from the start. Arrived early and were happy to wait but got a ride greeting about check in time... further to this, room was dirty. Used face mask left in cupboard and dirty cups, bed spreads looked like they haven’t been changed in years! Consulted owner, the best he could do was offer a refund... no care in the world!!

We stayed here 3 nights it's been awsome, the people running it are so nice and helpful . So close to the shops and restaurants. Very clean and tidy . Quiet and nice and warm . There is lots of room and we where able to cook our meals in the kitchen

Cats everywhere, I believe there was actually a cat bed in our room which was a little odd. My daughter and I were woken to a man in our room (assuming the owner) with a torch. Was value for money but was terrifying for us both, a very clear language barrier also when checking in.

Very happy and friendly woman at reception welcomed us. Stayed two nights and had a good time. Wifi was working fine, kitchen good and a great hot shower. Supermarket is just a few minutes walk away. Free parking too. Would come back!
