This is a truly beautiful hotel with the most gorgeous views. It is quiet ad peaceful and a quick ride to town. The breakfast is wonderful..The only thing that makes it better is the staff who are so gracious, nice and at your service to assist at any time.
We stayed here on our way to Wellington and a home base to explore Rotorua. For exploring this was a great location fairly close to most of the attractions. The view over the lake was absolutely spectacular. We stayed in a garden room and were delighted beyond our expectations. The bed was great. The restaurant was fantastic, I am on a special diet and they worked really hard to accommodate and the results were exceptional. My wife enjoyed the lamb and said it was the best she ever had. We recommend this hotel very highly
Set on top of a hill with amazing views we were greeted even before we got out of the car. Concierges are available so you never have to lift a finger with luggage. Staff are super helpful though special mentions go to Mathew and Beulah for their personal service. The food was incredible and the wine was something else (in a good way!). There's plenty to do and see in Rotorua, and the staff are more than happy to provide their honest and helpful opinions. They are more than accommodating, specially when we made plans to participate in a nocturnal walk in a native forest which clashed with dinner plans. Meet the donkeys and feed them carrots, there's also a sheep (called River) who thinks she's a donkey! We stayed in room 1 which is in the main building and apparently the best…
This place is amazing. It's a gorgeous property on stunning grounds with beautiful views of Lake Rotorua. The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful. Our room (the villa apartment) was fabulously appointed, clean, and comfortable with a huge comfy bed, a hot tub, and a nice shower. We only ate breakfast here (although I wish we'd stayed another night to have dinner), but it was the best breakfast we had in New Zealand. No exaggeration, I had the best omelette I've ever had in my life at Peppers on the Point! The property has nice walkways to explore and stroll and there are horses, donkeys, and sheep to pet and feed if you like that sort of thing. Peppers on the Point has ruined me for all other hotels.
Great staff, so friendly and helpful. Beautiful spot set in lovely grounds with donkeys, goats, chickens and lakeside garden with amazing views and comfy luxury accommodation. Will visit again when in NZ.
