5 Star Exclusive luxury lodge surrounded by the sparkling waters of Lake Rotorua. Peppers on the Point offers guests the opportunity to experience the rich culture and geothermal wonders of Rotorua or simply relax and enjoy the tranquility of the stunning location. Once a Maori Pa site, the property is steeped in local history - of ancient battles, love and life - and looks out towards the historic Mokoia Island. The Lodge itself is a converted 1930's mansion filled with beautiful antiques and only 10 minutes from the heart of Rotorua. Linking into Rotorua's spa heritage we have our own therapeutic health and wellness treatment room and a small guest gym. Other facilities include a tennis court, private beach, native bush walks and jetty.

This is a truly beautiful hotel with the most gorgeous views. It is quiet ad peaceful and a quick ride to town. The breakfast is wonderful..The only thing that makes it better is the staff who are so gracious, nice and at your service to assist at any time.

We stayed here on our way to Wellington and a home base to explore Rotorua. For exploring this was a great location fairly close to most of the attractions. The view over the lake was absolutely spectacular. We stayed in a garden room and were delighted beyond our expectations. The bed was great. The restaurant was fantastic, I am on a special diet and they worked really hard to accommodate and the results were exceptional. My wife enjoyed the lamb and said it was the best she ever had. We recommend this hotel very highly

Lovely to read your comments and thank you for taking the time to review our property. I will pass your comments about the lamb onto the Chef, delighted your wife loved it. One of the highlights of the property is its close proximity to everything whilst still being private and peaceful, we are glad you felt this too. Thanks for the recommendation. Kind regards Ann

Set on top of a hill with amazing views we were greeted even before we got out of the car. Concierges are available so you never have to lift a finger with luggage. Staff are super helpful though special mentions go to Mathew and Beulah for their personal service. The food was incredible and the wine was something else (in a good way!). There's plenty to do and see in Rotorua, and the staff are more than happy to provide their honest and helpful opinions. They are more than accommodating, specially when we made plans to participate in a nocturnal walk in a native forest which clashed with dinner plans. Meet the donkeys and feed them carrots, there's also a sheep (called River) who thinks she's a donkey! We stayed in room 1 which is in the main building and apparently the best

Thank you so much for your review! We are so very glad that you enjoyed your time with us and that you had an enjoyable stay. Mathew and Beula have read the review too and thank you so much for your mentions. Jut a little secret, the room you stayed in Room 1 - The Main Suite was the owners own bedroom when they lived on the property, so it is quite a special room. We hope that we can welcome you back one day to the property. Kind regards

This place is amazing. It's a gorgeous property on stunning grounds with beautiful views of Lake Rotorua. The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful. Our room (the villa apartment) was fabulously appointed, clean, and comfortable with a huge comfy bed, a hot tub, and a nice shower. We only ate breakfast here (although I wish we'd stayed another night to have dinner), but it was the best breakfast we had in New Zealand. No exaggeration, I had the best omelette I've ever had in my life at Peppers on the Point! The property has nice walkways to explore and stroll and there are horses, donkeys, and sheep to pet and feed if you like that sort of thing. Peppers on the Point has ruined me for all other hotels.

What a fantastic description of the property! Do you mind if I use this? So very glad you had a wonderful stay and we thank you for taking the time to review us. I have passed on your comments about your omelette onto @bethaneystowe who would have made that omelette for you. I hope you might be able to return to stay for that "one more night" Kind regards
