My wife and I stayed 2 nights at this property last weekend for our 35th wedding anniversary and wanted to celebrate by staying somewhere special. We certainly chose a special place - it was truly beautiful. There were only three parties staying on our first night and just us and a family of 6 on the second night due to COVID-19. Like everyone else, we received a lovely welcome from Lucy and had a tour of the property first followed by a welcome drink. Mathew showed us to our room which was the Main Lodge Suite right above the restaurant area with a huge outdoor balcony that offered a 200° panoramic view of Lake Rotorua - wow! The room was massive with a huge classy bathroom and sitting area and a small kitchenette. The room certainly had wow factor and we were ecstatic to be

Dear Grant Your letter could not have come at a better time for us. Since your visit to us, our world has been turned inside out, so to read your beautiful letter to us, raised my spirits. I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us, all in all we seemed to have exceed your expectations. I will ensure to pass this on to our small team who you mention in your letter. I hope you are hunkered down somewhere now and that you & your family stay safe whilst we negotiate ourselves out of this predicament. Who knows once it is all over, we might see you visit us again on your next anniversary. Congratulations.

Peppers on the Point in Rotorua has the best staff! Due to weather, we arrived very late yet Olivia was waiting for us when we finally arrived with an offer of food if we needed it. Lucie was so nice to drive us to the airport in the morning to get our rental car (everything at the airport was closed by the time we finally arrived the night before). Tracey was such a warm and kind hostess each morning for breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, it was so good. Everyone loved the eggs Benedict! Except for the non-egg eater for whom Tracey found a jar of Nutella! The facility is beautiful and very spacious. We stayed in the Lake Villa. The views were spectacular. The house is huge with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, laundry and a large living room and kitchen. My kids are

Thank you so much for your very kind words. I’ll pass your comments into the staff. We’ve taken on board your feedback and will certainly review with our team to continue to offer the best in visitor experience. Most of our guests self drive and because we are so close to the city and all the attractions, the need for a shuttle has not been a necessity for most but again appreciate it would have assisted you in your stay. I’m so glad to read that overall we delivered and you had an awesome stay with us. Safe travels.

Hotel we’ve ever stayed in! Stayed for 2 nights in the Villa Apartment (wish it had been 2 weeks!!!). Such a lovely welcome, so quiet and peaceful, so stunning. The staff treat you as friends not customers - just get it right as well, not overly friendly but simply cannot do enough for you. The Villa Apartment was simply stunning (see attached photos) and the position and the views of the lake was superb. Completely private, own tennis court, own hot tub, fully equipped kitchen and laundry in the fabulous bathroom. It was so lovely we actually stayed on site for the whole 2 day visit and relaxed. When the staff knew we were doing that they brought us a salad lunch up to the villa. We ate in the small restaurant both evenings - beautiful - and my husband enjoyed the

This is a beautiful hotel - a former family home - in fact you are greeted like a member of the family. It is set in a stunning position overlooking the lake. We had booked a Superking Delux Suite and it was so comfortable and enormous. Lovely bedroom, a dressing room, small anti room and a lounge area so large that it contained a dining room table. The best part that it had a balcony that overlooked the fabulous grounds and the lake - I could have sat out there for hours! Great bathroom too with a jacuzzi bath and separate shower. Breakfast was delicious - cold choices as well as hot and such a bonus to be able to eat outside in the sunshine! All members of staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for you - just wish that we could have stayed for much longer.

This place is so nice. We stayed in the villa and had amazing sunrise views over the lake. The hospitality was second to none! It’s expensive but so very worth the price. Our suite had a private outdoor hot tub. There were 2 bedrooms (only 1 bathroom which is accessed through a bedroom). This could present a logistics problem of multi families were Sharing the space. That however was not a problem for the 2 of us

Thank you for your lovely comments. We are so glad you took the time to tell us about your stay and how much you enjoyed it. We appreciate your feedback regarding the Villa Apartment and can advise that investigations are afoot to make changes to the villa in order that there is another bathroom as we appreciate it is not always suited to some families. We do go to great lengths to advise our guests of the configuration prior to booking and as you say it is a fantastic apartment when there is just the two of you. Take care, and safe travels. Kind regards
