Lovely place, friendly helpful staff. Lovely lakeside resort. Didn't get to eat there this time so can't comment on the food. Rooms well appointed and clean. Good deep bath with sliding doors between main room and bathroom. Overall quite a nice stay. Tennis court
I thought the overall property was very nice, it was approx 10 min out of town however had an awesome view over a lake. The rooms were nice and comfortable. I found the general service of the property poor and somewhat unwelcoming. The main restaurants doors were continually closed, with no indication if it was actually open. Within in the restaurant they were missing some fundamental service points, failing to check on the meal, failing to refill wine glasses and cleanliness of the venue. Despite the service I would still recommend the property for people who wanted something nice and were willing to experience the surroundings.
This pakce was the noisiest I have ever stayed in - whereas I expected peace and tranquility. The hall corridors echoed whenever anyone shut there door or talked in the hall. We had one group come in after 11am and have a loud shouting match with doors banging shut.
We had prebooked a package deal - the guy on reception was very rude - it felt like a police interrogation rather than a welcome. We thought it would be nice to have a walk on the lawns in front on the hotel, near the lake. Unfortunately you couldn't walk for animal turds of some kind. The rooms were fairly ordinary, and very noisy. There were a lot of children in the hotel and the corridors echoed a lot of the noise. However, most was forgiven (except for the rude Indian guy on reception) with the service and the standard of food in the restaurant. It was superb, and special. We went back for breakfast the next morning, and once again were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness and quality of food.
We got married here in 2005 and the facilities were fresh and new. It was beautiful We went back for a short stay and the location is still as beautiful but the hotel rooms are looking a little tired. Service was good, as was the food. Room was a bit disappointing for the price we paid.
