Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The owners were very friendly and helpful, and their cats enjoy a good scratch from guests. Good to get some tips of what to see in the area, with directions and maps provided.
Our room upstairs had a queen bed, and it was clean and well decorated. Views were of the garden.
It was baking hot, with no fan or air con. But the quiet location meant we could keep the windows open all night.
The booking site implied that there is a balcony, bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities. There are, but they are shared with other guests.
The hot tub was warm, and you could see down over the main town if you were tall enough.
It’s located about 10 minutes away from the centre of town. A bit too far to walk, but apparently there are good bus links available.
All in all, it was a nice place to stay. Very much what you’d expect from a good B&B.

We had an awesome start to our family holiday here, stayed for two nights and the accommodation couldn’t have been better. The hosts were amazing and incredibly accommodating including answering the multitude of questions our four year old had! Amazing views out over Rotorua and the geysers in Te Puia.

Rotorua is the North Islands TOP destination for kiwi and Maori activities. It is lovely mixing and meeting with new guests, and what a friendly location this is. Geyser Lookout is atop a hill overlooking the Lake, city, and famous geyser. The healthy, delightful, evening dinner even exceeds the breakfast with meals of international flavours. Warm and spacious, clean & bright, every time I visit. Bonus: free outdoor spa and two affectionate vanilla cats.

The room was amazing. It was really large and had all the facilities you needed. Even more! It's pretty close to all the main activities in Rotorua and it has a beautiful view over Rotorua and the Geyser! Also from the jacuzzi! The people were really helpful and nice. They want to make sure everything is all right! We loved our time spending at this beautiful place.

Thank you guys!!

The ground floor room was a complete apartment: bedroom with kingsize bed, private bathroom, sitting room, kitchen and access to the garden. Wonderful! Beautiful garden with hot tub (although we didn't use it) and nice view, quiet place. Very friendly host. Thank you for your kindness and great hospitality!
