Stayed here for several nights this week. The hostel is clean, comfortable and quiet that's within walking distance of the bus stops, i-site building, shops, supermarket, Sulfur Point, Polynesian Spa and many other attractions. Single /double bedroom is clean and comfortable. Kit…
The beds are comfortable and the dorms are well set up. There is lots of space in the rooms, big windows and heaters. Convenient location. A little bit dated but everything is clean. Fairly quiet, doesn't have too much of an atmosphere. I would stay again.

Smart 1930's building with many original features. Clean and well run, Neil is your host. Great location too, just off the main drag and a 10 minute walk to local eateries. Big sunny room, only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was no towel provided.
"Don't lock your keys in the room!"
"Upstairs more secure when Windows open and some downstairs rooms next to busy corridor"
"close to town centre, lovely hosts!"
"I saw only one dorm room, and it was good. But as good as it is, it is not worth the sour treatment of the staff. Go elsewhere!"
"be aware of crazy kitchen rules"
