Clean room, comfortable shower, owner friendly, nice breakfrast,...so everything was excellent. There is no 24 hour front desk or anything, but the owner lives there as well, and can communicate well, so no trouble checking in.

We had a lovely three night stay in Rotorua. Trev and Rosemary were helpful, friendly and relaxed.

Our room was spacious, well kitted out with a very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Would definitely stay again

We stayed here for three nights. Trevor and Rosemary are the perfect hosts, very helpful without being intrusive. When we couldn’t get a Uber ride to the bus, Trevor gave us a lift. The room is very clean and comfortable and everything works well- the shower is hot with lots of pressure, the WiFi is fast and the bed is nice. The breakfast was great with fresh fruit and juice. I highly recommend this B and B and we were sorry to leave.

Our room was on the lower floor of the home. There was a secure door locking system for the entrance to the main foyer. The room was spacious, very clean and had a comfortable bed. We did not have a view. The continental breakfast (placed in the room and fridge prior to arrival) consisted of a fruit plate, cereal, bread, jam, yogurt, coffee and tea. The B&B is located close to downtown and the host provided us with several restaurant choices.

We enjoyed our two nights stay in this lovely and welcoming B&B. We had a comfortable room and were provided with a delicious in-room breakfast including lots of fresh fruit which was nicely presented, it was also lovely to be able to sit out in the pretty garden and have our breakfast in the sunshine. The accommodation is very handy for the town centre where there are lots of great places to eat in the evening, and to stroll by the lake.

We spend two nights in B&B on Sumner and really enjoyed it. The rooms was very spacious, clean and well equipped. The bathroom was also spacious and comfortable.
We had some space outside as well. Offstreet parking was well arranged. The owners were very friendly and helpful. If you need some advice on the area, just ask them! The location is very close to several of the famous sites and also just a few minutes drive from the city center. All in all very convenient and comfortable!

My wife and I stayed at this B&B for one night on 14 Jan 2019. It was a wonderful stay. Trevor and Rosemary were excellent hosts. Helpful when you needed them, but respectful of our privacy. The room was very spacious, well appointed, very clean, super king size bed and had all the amenities you might want.... and a nice neighborhood. A continental breakfast was placed in the fridge in our room with a large plate of fresh fruit, yogurt, breads, cereals, etc. I highly recommend this B&B.

Just enjoyed a fabulous weekend away staying at B&B on Sumner & happy to recommend it. Super friendly hosts who both made us so welcome. Our suite (own combined bedroom/living area plus ensuite) was spacious, private, and really clean & comfortable. Yummy breakfast conveniently left for us in our room. This B&B is also handy to heaps of cool stuff to do in Rotorua. Thanks for an awesome stay! We'll be back.

We stayed for 2 nights, good bed, good sized room that was light and airy, would be nice if there was an electric blanket when it's cold. Owner very friendly and helpful. We would stay again if in Rotorua.

What a room!! Huge and comfortable with a beautiful patio just outside. Breakfast was traditional and left in our room so we could eat it at our convenience. The sheets on the bed were so very comfortable. Once you stay here you will know what I mean. I wish we had stayed longer.
