A truly magnificent place to stay. Beautiful linen in the bedroom and en suite. A peaceful surrounding. Breakfast was amazing in a lovely friendly atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble for the owner to help you with your travel plans. Would recommend this to everyone. Liz and Bill Watson, Tasmania.

Philip, the owner, was a wonderful host. He gave us great tips on where we should visit in the bay of islands, and further in NZ. He made us feel very welcome. The rooms were big, comfortable, and we felt at home. The breakfasts were healthy and sumptious. You can't wrong here - we strongly recommend this bed and breakfast!

Phil and Wendy are great hosts. They treated us like family and told us about all of the attractions we should visit. Their home is beautiful, and yes, there is heat (for those of you who venture to NZ during the cold months). We stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved it. Definitely stay here if you want to meet some great people and see a beautiful part of the North Island.

Hosts, Wendy and Phil, were outstanding. They were extremely helpful and knowledgable. Their rooms are very comfortable and fully furnished with tables and chairs on the adjoining decks overlooking native bush. Decks of Paihia is in a very quiet location yet within easy walking distance from the center of Paihia. We would stay there again when we go to Paihia; we would not have to look at any other B&B. This one is exceptional.

Superb new B and B high above Paihia overlooking the beautiful Bay of Islands. We stayed 2 nights in this sparkling new purpose built B and B. 3 spacious ensuite rooms on the lower level with large sliding glass doors onto a garden deck. Leading edge decor, crisp, clean and tasteful. The entry level dining area and deck looks out over the Bay of Islands. Your generous breakfast is served indoors or out on this floor's deck. Friendly hosts Wendy and Phil are welcoming and full of good practical advice regarding the area, restaurants and tours. They helped us schedule our time and booked tickets. Internet service is available to guests. A car is an asset to reach this B and B unless you have strong legs.
