We stayed 2 nights in upstairs Room 12 - fantastic accommodation, spotless , huge spa with fluffy towels and bath robes , full length mirror, safe , complimentary juice, cheese, biscuits plus chocolate, great view of the sea , balcony with outdoor setting , perfect for breakfast. Laundry on site ($4) and clothes airer available from reception. Super town full of Art Deco buildings . Guided walking tour was very interesting. Plenty to see at Hawke's Bay Museum/ Library , free entry. Walking past the Port a light lunch was enjoyed at Ahuriri Village Kitchen. So glad we visited Napier !

We chose a high floor room which cost a little more but well worth it. The room was large and the balcony looked out to the ocean. There was a lift to take our luggage up the three floors. We had a kitchenette, stovetop, fridge, microwave etc. The bathroom was spacious. There was also a spa bath in the room which worked well. We were able to walk into town with no problem. The only down side was a rather old looking red two seater lounge which did not face the TV and a rather outdated stereo unit and there was no wardrobe to hang clothes. The motel had a laundry with complimentary washing powder and only $4 for a wash.On the other hand the servicing of the room was impeccable and I would compliment the staff on the wonderful job they did each day of our room.

We stayed with two children in June 2022.

Reception was unattended when we arrived, and one of the cleaners had to help us. A little disorganised but we were sorted quickly enough. One oddity was being charged a credit card surcharge. Very unusual in a motel.

Our room was large and well appointed. The room had a separate bedroom with two single beds, a bathroom, and a large room with a small kitchenette, spa bath, king sized bed, couch and table. The kitchen was functional, with plenty of cooking equipment. There was a microwave, a cooktop and a small fridge.

Despite being on the ground floor, and facing the road, we had no issues with road noise.

Our room would have benefited from some general maintenance... there was some damaged plaster, a dripping tap, and a broken curtain hook (which made it hard to pull the curtain) . Housekeeping was 'OK' but a bit inconsistent. For example. toiletries weren't replaced on our first morning, but were on the second. The king sized bed is closer to the end of its life than the start, but was still comfortable.

The location is pretty good. This is one of the more distant motels from central Napier... but it is a short walk along the waterfront and we didn't find the distance to be an issue. It is really on e few minutes further than other motels.

Provided we secured a good price, we'd happily stay again.

Hospitable hosts who ensure accommodation facilities are maintained to a high level of cleanliness and comfort. Good location and with attractive sea views, which we have enjoyed over the past four annual trips to Napier. Very popular with usually no vacancies, requiring advance bookings to ensure access. Highly recommended.

This is a great place to stay and we cant wait to visit again. As there were three adults we selected the ground floor unit which was had all the necessities we needed.
I read in a previous review that the beds were comfortable and they were. Had the best three nights sleep in ages. Location was within walking distance to town and almost directly across the road from the Aquarium of NZ. Staff were so friendly and even the ladies on room cleaning duties spared time to talk and highlight the places to visit in Napier. If one finds good accommodation one will return and that is exactly what we will do next time we are heading to Na[pier. This place is thoroughly deserving of the rating it has prom the high percentage of visitors who take time to write a review.

Just finished a great 2 nights here.

We originally booked here in March 2020, but had to cancel due to COVID lockdown. The hotel cancelled our booking without any charges, so we rebooked in return for their understanding.

Excellent motel. We had room 18 … on level 2 with great views over the beach. Rooms are very spacious, very clean and comfortable. Very big bathroom and a large balcony with table & 2 chairs.

Very close to Napier business centre … 10 min walk or 3 min drive ….parking is all metered, so easier & cheaper to walk. Hotel has plenty of parking on site. We had dinner & breakfast at Curves restaurant. It’s in The Scenic Hotel at 45 Marine Parade ( opposite the War Memorial ) …. Plenty of parking out the back of the hotel … off Browning St. a 3 minute drive from Pebble Beach Motel … 10 - 15 minute walk.

Also has a guest laundry …. Detergent supplied, pay for washing ( 2 x $2 coins ) and pay for drying ( 3x $2 coins ).

Give. Burtons Restaurant, in the Nautilus Hotel …. 3 min walk down Marine Pde…. a miss. Very poor quality food, plus despite the sign on the street saying “open for breakfast “, they’re not …. Only for hotel guests. The Curve is way better quality & value for money.

We stayed at Pebble Beach Motor Inn last week and can't speak highly enough of the whole experience.
Our plans changed a couple of times regarding dates / nights etc, but nothing was a problem for the motel management. We booked direct, via the motels very easy to use website. In current times, there is no need to use "booking agents"!
The new Art Deco suites are astounding!
We stayed in No 27 on the ground floor. There's no sea view but don't let that worry you at all. As it was cold and dark it really didn't matter, and in the summer time you would be out and about more enjoying the sea views.
Our room, was really an apartment.
Beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. Sumptuous, elegant and quiet.
As you kick your shoes off at the front door, your feet are lovely and cosy with the warm carpet. Theres a very efficient heat pump to keep you cosy too, or cool in the summer.
2 generous comfortable sofas, lots of soft lighting and plenty of room.
The gorgeous spa bath is quite amazing, the best I've been in and extremely comfortable.
The bedroom is off to the side with a sliding door to shut if you like.
Bathroom is off the bedroom and very well appointed with a lovely big shower.
Honestly you will want for nothing in these brand new, cleverly designed suites.
Our hosts made us very welcome upon arrival and guests are given a welcome basket with cheese and biscuits and juice. A simple touch but very welcome after a long drive.
An added bonus ,was that it is a nice easy walk to lots of cafes & restaurants.
We will certainly return to this motel again and cannot recommend it highly enough.
Andrew & Val.

We stayed here for four nights in mid March 2021.

We were on the top floor (second floor) and had a lovely view looking across to the beach. It’s a very nice unit, very spacious. Huge bathroom, and the bedroom/lounge has both a desk and a table and chairs, plus a couch. The balcony has a wooden table and chairs and we spent a bit of time sitting out there watching the world go by.

The bed was king sized, and very comfortable, we had a good night’s sleep.

The proprietors are very friendly and helpful. A nice little touch was the wee basket of goodies given to us when we checked in - some chocolates, orange juice, and biscuits.

The road outside is busy with lots of trucks, but with the door shut the noise was negligible – I think it must have double glazing.

There is a small lift (elevator) if required.

Very nice toiletries that were replenished daily, as likewise was the tea/coffee etc.

There is a microwave oven and two electric hotplates. There is also an air conditioning unit if required.

We would definitely stay here again - this was our second or third stay here. The room was spacious, clean and well laid out, and both the owner at reception and the cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful.

These rooms have got a nice outlook over the park to the sea. I’m not sure they are luxury from my point of view. The bed really needed to be replaced with a mattress that wasn’t sloping and saggy.

My main issue was the housekeeping service. We decided to stay in a serviced motel rather than air bnb type place because of the daily room servicing so we felt like we were really having a restful holiday. Most times the room servicing was done late in the day and was only a change of towels. We went for three days without our rubbish being emptied, no tea towel, and the bed wasn’t made, until we asked on the fourth day for a full room service then the whole room was cleaned and vacuumed and the sheets changed in the morning while we were out.

If you don’t mind housekeeping inconsistencies, then it’s a nice place to stay.

Sorry, we do not have 2 or 3 bedroom apartments here at Pebble Beach. You would need to take 2 Family suites (each can sleep max of 4 people) to accommodate your family of 7. Thanks Gary
