The place was a little difficult to find but upon entering reception, there was a really nice ambience about the place. Our room was on the 2nd floor and after parking underground in the carpark we made our way up using the lift. The room was very large. There were two chairs and a desk so we got one each to sit in unlike some places where you only get one. Wi-fi was really responsive. The balcony overlooked the water so location was excellent. There were sufficient restaurants to choose from for meals along with a convenience store within easy walking distance. I absolutely loved the bathroom. The shower was a walk in shower with great water pressure. It was very large. The room decor was very modern and I also liked the minute drawers in the kitchenette which were…
I'll start with what we liked and then share what we didn't like. Liked: Staff were very friendly. When they knew we were coming up for a funeral they upgraded us free of charge. Check-in was a breeze. Parking - free and quite secure, under cover as well with an elevator from the garage. Room - Clean and spacious with a very comfortable king size bed and plenty of room for the two of us to move around. Quality linen and a range of pillows. Balcony overlooking the sea with great views. Kitchenette with bar fridge, suitable for toast and tea. Microwave. Plenty of power points and free Wifi. Bathroom was again roomy. Shower pressure was amazing. We experienced no road noise on the 3rd floor. Location - excellent. Walking distance to an abundance of great eateries and…
Very nice, clean, spacious, modern hotel room. Walking distance to good, local restaurants, underground parking, free laundry room, super nice staff. Also took in Cape Kidnapper’s via motor coach (Gannet Safari) which was a highlight!
We stayed in the two bedroom top floor apartment overlooking the water. It was simply gorgeous. The most well appointed self contained apartment I have ever stayed in. Well located for a lot of eateries, 5 minute drive out of Napier itself. Friendly reception staff. I would very happily stay there again. Not cheap, but you definitely get what you have paid for.

The common areas are basic and feel a bit like army accommodation but the rooms are great. Our one was super comfortable and had a great bed, balcony, easy chairs and a fantastic kitchenette (with every utensil one could imagine!). We loved the choice of teas and the free water. We also loved the toiletries. There are some design and maintenance issues (the loo seat was super wobbly and the shower tray needs either a lip or a decline towards the drain as it floods) but otherwise it’s great. The other issue is that the…
