We just spent last weekend at The Old Church Villa. It was my husbands & my second stay and was everything we remembered from 2 years ago. The 3 other couples hadn't been before and were blown away by the grandeur of it all. Like everyone else the bedroom pick was the hardest part. We lit the fire on Friday night & enjoyed a relaxed evening with the cheese board provided , drinks & a BBQ. Saturday night we had a lovely meal in The Loft of The Old Church. Sunday came all too soon. Thanks to Mel and the staff for a fantastic, relaxing , luxury weekend. We will definitely be back for another weekend.

If you love the feel of yesteryear then this is an ideal stay. An old home which has been decorated in the style of the early 1900’s. Comfortable accommodation and good facilities provided for travelers. Very well equipped property. Modern bathrooms. Good location only 10 minutes from central Napier.

My Princess Chanelle, always wanted to get married at The Old Church. Moira and the team went Above and Beyond to create a Fairy Tale wedding that Walt Disney himself could not produce any better. Instead of having two nights at the Old Church Villa, we were given Four Fantastic nights in a house with so much elegance and luxury, every time we walked through those doors. Our wedding day was so relaxing and worked like clockwork. We never felt rushed and everything flowed nicely. The food was mouth-watering, a food lovers paradise, a slice of heaven if you'd like. The Old Church itself needs no decorations as on its own the ambiance from inside the venue and chandelier is breath taking. Moira is a pleasure to work with, she really knows how to treat her guest and goes out of her way to exceed your expectations. I cannot wait to visit The Old Church again for lunch or dinner, either way this place is absolutely wonderfully. I highly recommend it as a romantic getaway place or to have family and friends for an delicious meal. Thank you Moira and the team

We booked the villa as part of the pamper package through the Old Church for our wedding recently. It was amazing, such an incredible venue and villa. The furnishings are absolute luxury, none of our party had ever stayed in such a place! The service from the staff was excellent, and the catering was out of this world - we were told the high tea lunch was going to be good - it was excellent!
Coming from out of town for our wedding it was wonderful to have the pamper package booked, so all of our hair and makeup for the wedding was sorted. So easy and always a delight to deal with Jacinda and Moira at the Old Church.
Would absolutely recommend to anyone who is holidaying in the area and especially for a wedding - just made the whole day so much more splendid. Thank you!

The Old Church Villa is a "take your breath away" stunning venue. We had a small, intimate wedding staying at the villa and dining at The Old Church Restaurant and we were very impressed with attention to detail and the quality of the surroundings as well as the service given to us. Everyone we came in contact with were delightful and extremely helpful. The food was delicious as was it's presentation and the villa was opulent and extremely comfortable. It transports you away to a different place...magical & gorgeous. Thank you sooo much

This was our first time staying at The Old Church and it exceeded all our expectations...
Everything oozes luxury, from the sumptuous bedrooms with amazing bathrooms to the gourmet kitchen and lounge complete with log fire. It all combines to give you a total pampering experience....I didn't even mention the cup warming draw!

My bridesmaids and I stayed at The Old Church Villa the night before my wedding, and my husband and I stayed the night of our wedding. What a truly magical place the villa was, we were in awe of the stunningly lavish interior design, and the beautiful outside landscape, everything we needed was there. There was a function on the first night we stayed, which we were initially a bit worried about sleep wise, but we soon discovered we didn't even notice it was going on as it was so quiet, which was great. We are from the Napier region, but staying at the Villa gave us the illusion of being elsewhere, it was just perfect. Thank you.

We were blown away by the beauty and setting of the Villa. Every detail is paid to quality and comfort; and there is plenty of space to entertain if having guests.
Well worth dining next door at the old church restaurant but there is also a well stocked condiment pantry and gorgeous kitchen and scullery for chefs. We can't wait to go back! Quick note for ladies: due to the lighting of bathrooms - I recommend a makeup mirror :)

My family and I stayed at The Old Church Villa as part of our wedding Pure Indulgence package. It is the best place that we have ever stayed at! Everything about this villa was amazing and we loved how each room was decorated differently and the furnishings are simply wonderful. There was everything that you have ever wanted and more in the villa. We felt like we were given a massage every time used the showers, the baths are super cute, the beds - you sure wanted to stay in bed for as long as you could! The kitchen was so delightful - from the coffee machine and heated cup draw, to the beautiful cuttlery and glasses and plates. Of course then it was all surrounded by beautful gardens! Both serene and luxurious! Thanks Mel, Richard, and Jacinda, and staff at the Old Church for their wonderful and friendly service :O)

After 14 years in the Tourism business I can honestly say this is the most superb accommodation I have ever stayed in. So comfortable and with the very best of furnishings etc. EVERYTHING you need is there, staff are very friendly and helpful. We barely did any sightseeing or shopping as we didn't want to leave the house! Thoroughly recommend this piece of paradise.
