Such a beautiful spot with excellent facilities. Very clean amenities and awesome helpful staff. 100 percent recommend this holiday park for anyone, couples or families. Waking up to such a beautiful sunrise was bonus.
We had a great stay. Jenny (the owner) worked very hard to do everything in her power to help us with a booking error. The cabin we stayed in was very warm, the new shower block was great and the coffee was delicious! We will be back!
This was a stay that met all expectations. Facilities for us and our caravan were excellent. For people looking for a more traditional NZ beach would be a bit disappointed but access to Napier and surrounds was very good.
True asset to Napier, facilities clean and tidy, showers are powerful and a great price of $1 for 5 minutes. Short walk to the beach for a lovely view of lights at night. Bonus of being right by the northern end cycle trails. Only downside I could see was some of the powered sites were a bit on the small side if you wanted to put an awning up, but I guess management would sort that on a case by case basis. The onsite cafe is a bonus, very busy, but our order was still delivered in a timely manner and couldnt be faulted, huge range of gluten free food. The road was a bit noisy but the sound of the waves soon drowned that out.
Traffic coming and going all hours...office shut early..so noone yo assist us being locked out via security arms..facilities you have to pay extra for....very poor service and value for money. Definitely should not be a top 10.
Wonderful place to get away with the family. Clean and tidy. Easy access to the beach. Plenty for the kids to do. Lovely cafe/restaurant. Friendly staff. Everything you could possibly need to be able to put your feet up and relax
Napier Beach holiday park has a great vibe. Our campervan site overlooked the sea. The place is clean and well kept with excellent facilities including an on site cafe with excellent coffee and food. Hosts Jenny and Gene are warm and welcoming. This place is the start of a fantastic bike trail right into Napier city, opposite Crab Farm winery and close to many adventures. A wonderful spot.
Excellent place to stay the park is super clean and tidy well laid out and signposted so you know where everything is. Super friendly staff only too happy to help with smiley faces. Lovely cafe with awesome food and coffee. Can’t wait to come back and stay for longer.
twas a fine autumn afternoon when we arrived at our destination, where we would spend our Easter and from where we would venture out and explore the bay of Hawkes. by time I had taken leave of the administration building I had entered my offspring in the Easter Sunday egg based activities to which they took great delight in partaking in, now loaded with sugar to our chagrin. but before we we endured the chocolate fueled chaos, we spent several days venturing out into the countryside exploring the Aquarium, the Faraday center, Te Mata peak, bluff hill and the some local pools. at the end of each day we returned to our nylon abode knowing that a good nights rest after a hot shower and a hot meal awaited us. twas a sad day when we had to pack our nylon domicile to return to our regular domicile. we were welcomed and we are certain such a welcome awaits all who choose to stay here.…
As expected from a Top 10 facility , well managed , clean communal facility ,(washroom, kitchens). The BBQ were good aswell. 15 mins drive to Napier city and the beach at the back side of the camp ground is a good place to sit and relax.
