First and only place we'd booked on our motorcycle holiday around the north island. Great parking for the bikes in a private setting. Service was very good, rooms were clean but dated. Being able to have a beer or 2 onsite was an added extra plus for us. Food was outstanding! The only downside is the layout of the place. Pulling up you think it's awful and want to walk away, not aware the accommodation is out the back. May be to do with the new road layout? Glad we stayed here though.Being able to practice my limited Tagalog and Bisaya was awesome! Nalingaw kami sa among pagpuyo. Salamat.

A little cabin type room which had a super comfortable bed and great air con. Wet room shower made a mess of water everywhere but the room was adequate for what we needed. Bed was huge and super comfy! Pub and eatery on site was great, food was nice. Would recommend a stay here.

Excellent place to stay , air conditioned.
Spotless cant praise this place enough.
Great food bar and service we will be back .The bbq ribs are to die for and great sized meals but maybe they could do a half sized meal .

We booked one night here on a whistle stop trip through Napier, it did exactly what we needed. The check in was good and it was very nice speaking to the friendly man at the front desk, he made us feel very welcome. The units are at the back of the pub and don't look that great from the outside, but are exceptionally clean. Our room did feel a bit tired, but the bathroom was on the newer side and our AC unit worked well. I've dropped some points from the rating due to: open style shower tends to make everything in bathroom wet; and the kettle plug couldn't reach any plug point in the kitchen - we were therefore plugging it in on the floor. All in all a good place to stay, unfortunately the pub and restaurant were closed on our stay (just after NYE) otherwise I could imagine that would make this an even better place to stay.

Just arrived at Westshore Beach Inn in Napie ay 9.30pm. No remote for heatpump and dirty linen in room on one of the beds . When I called the office at 9.30pm the owner said he would not address it and it was an hassle for him to come and fix so he argued and hung up in stead. Stay away from this place at all cost not even if everywhere is full.

Excellent place so don’t judge a book by its cover. Very friendly helpful staff with parking right by your unit. Lovely meal in restaurant and fun night out in bar 👍👍🎉🎉🍻🍻 Just loves the tree that was our view while we sat on our patio 🍸

We wanted to break our trip to the northern Hawkes bay so stayed here for one night. Nice room and it was fantastic to have an on-site restaurant and bar with a big selection of craft beers. The beach was just a block away where the water was warm.

This motel is an absolute gem. It is locate in Westshore, which is about a five minute drive from the Napier CBD. The beach and the estuary are just a few steps away, the Cafes in Ahuriri are about a 15 minute walk from the motel.
There are a variety of different kinds of rooms available. We stayed in one of the renovated suites behind the restaurant. The room was super clean, very quiet and had a kitchenette with everything that we needed. The beds were amazingly comfortable and we slept very well!
There is a restaurant on site which offers delicious food.
My husband and I both suffer from severe asthma, and we had absolutely no breathing issues in our suite. This particular suite also seemed to be wheelchair accessible.
Besides the amazing quality of the room, the thing that stands out the most about this motel are the staff. These people are absolutely wonderful and will go above and beyond the call to make your stay at the Econo Lodge Napier a wonderful experience.
A huge thank you to Jeremy and all of the staff! You guys are the best!!

For better than pub grub try the Westshore Pub. We visited during a weekend event and the place was buzzing. The extensive burger selection is delicious. The meat patties are tender and juicy. If you want a bunless burger they also offer that. Good beer selection on tap.

Stayed almost a week at the Westshore. Carol & Jeremy were great hosts, ensuring that our enjoyment of our visit was well catered for.
This is an older style pub, that while not in town, is close and convenient and around half a kilometre from the airport.
There are two eateries. One a European style Bistro and the second with excellent Asian Fusion style dining.
The owners pride themselves in securing the best quality ingredients for their guests, including top quality, local, sustainably harvested seafood.
As Jeremy says with justifiable pride, "we may pay a little more for them but our guests do appreciate the difference".
The guest accommodation is in the form of clean, quiet, self contained units with free parking located behind the main Hotel itself. While the units appear standard from the out side,
No expense has been spared in the decor and fittings within. This includes stove, fridge, microwave, cutlery, crockery, table, chairs, lounge suite and good size TV. Then there is the King size bed, "the bed to die for". Bed, mattress and linen are all top quality. We had the best nights sleep in our entire NZ visit.
Last but by no means least we must congratulate the staff who were friendly, attentive and helpful and were always willing to go just that little bit further to make our stay enjoyable.
