A littel bit out of town but not a problem if you have your own car.
Got a very good reccomendation of the best fish and chips in Napier. Room was very clean. Would happily stay here again.

We stayed here as a group of 5 & were allocated 3 rooms

We were checked in quickly and found the rooms very tidy and clean but basic.

Sadly the ‘free’ WiFi didn’t work for our entire trip. Pleasant staff. Very comfy bed. However felt over priced.

This is a good motel for a quick stay. The motel was built in the older style which means bigger rooms. The room was very clean. This motel also has actual soap for hand wash and shower important for me because those (now regrettably common) liquid dispensers give me skin irritation.

Supermarket and other convenience shops are close by - 3 minute walk.

Unfortunately one draw back was the shortage of kitchenware - no frying pan. We had to purchase one at the supermarket. The reason is that the owners are very sensitive about cooking smells. In my view a reasonable warning should be sufficient. We used our purchased frying pan and left no smells.

We normally stay with family when we are in Napier but due to a big family gathering there was no room for us so we had to stay in a motel. I picked Pania Lodge based on the reviews on Trip Advisor and I wasn't disappointed. It is a quiet, clean motel with generous sized rooms and the bed was comfy and the shower was powerful and hot which are the 2 things I rate a motel on. Easy drive into the city and the owners were really friendly and accommodating as we had driven up from Wellington and got there quite late at night and they waited up for us. I would definitely recommend this place.

I can only agree with my fellow travelers. The unit was spotless, comfortable and really quite large, the hosts welcoming and helpful. You do need to drive into town but that is only 3/4 minutes away straight down Kennedy Road. The nearby Marewa Shops are handy with a couple of great little bakeries for that morning coffee and chelsea bun...

The motel is adjacent to a busy road but I did not find the noise to be intrusive.

Very reasonable rates, recommended.

Coming from England for a family visit to Napier, we decided to stay in a motel to give us a little down time. Well what a wonderful experience we had. Keith and Moya couldnt have been more helpful, courteous and just so friendly it was great. I would recommend anyone visi to stay here. Very reasonable prices and a great night's sleep

The first thing that struck us was how clean and well maintained the unit was- it was exceptional. Other family members have also commented on the cleanliness.

The unit was very comfortable, and at a good price. Whilst not in the CBD, it is just a few minutes drive away. We felt very much like guests rather than just another customer, and staying there was a very pleasant experience.

*Room was immaculately clean and comfortable.
*Great central location. We used it as a base to visit Church Road and Mission Estate vineyards.
*Friendly service.
*Next to a small reserve, which is handy if you've got kids.
*Nothing flash so had everything we need at an affordable price.
