easy to deal with, room was clean and tidy, not flash but was what we wanted just for one night stay, toilet was a bit old and noisy.
decor was a bit tired. parking was a bit tight if people from other rooms have big vehicles.

Thank you for taking the time to review Bamboo Lodge Motel. If you think it looks tired now, you should have seen it 13 months ago when we took over the lease ! We are slowly making our way through the many jobs that require doing and hope that in another 12 months time, it will make a better impact. Margie

If your just looking for somewhere to put your head down because your away all day and your out most of the night then this place is fine. But for a family I definitely think the place needs an upgrade in décor both inside and out. The sky package needs and upgrade as it only had one sports channel and the other channels didn't have anything decent on them. The television was not very high definition and was hard to see.

Hi 42Brendon Thank you for taking the time to review Bamboo Lodge Motel. Bamboo Lodge Motel is certainly in need of rejuvination. We have actually carried out a lot of work, some obviously not obvious ! Although it has taken us 13 months to get thus far, we hope it will only take another 12 months to e able to see a difference. We were not aware of the tv issue but will look into it. As far as the wifi is concerned, up to now no-one has complained. As there are so many jobs that require attention here at the Bamboo, funds have to be carefully allocated - more channels will come at a later date. Margie

we had booked into a hotel in napier via booking.com me and my family got over to napier went to check in turns out this hotel had never heard of it and certainly did not have the apartment we had booked the owners did help us to find somewhere else to stay which was at the Bamboo Lodge and i am so glad this happened it was a prime spot to stay the beach was just around the corner or a 10 min walk to safer water for my daughter, the fruit guy was just over the road, CBD was a 5min drive and the owners and their staff we so friendly and extremely helpful they were just fantastic i would recommend this place and am so glad we ended up here.

Ended up here after not being able to find anywhere else after a long drive from Wellington. Would not have chosen it but it was late and we had little choice. That said staff were very nice and helpful. Place had free WiFi and good tv with movie channel. The place was real retro 70s but in fairness was clean and tidy, bed comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. All said and not a bad experience and I would stay again.

I stayed in the Bamboo motel in a busy weekend in Napier, due to the Cricket world cup. The motel is a bit run down, but very clean, the beds are very comfortable and everything you need in a self-contained apartment is present. The hosts own this place for about 8 months now, and they do a great job and are willing to help you with everything. They want to upgrade the place. Wifi is also very good.
