Located a short distance from the city, this is a large complex of single-storey rooms with parking in front of each of the rooms. I shared a room with my sister so we went for a double queen room which was very large: two separate rooms for the beds a little lounge area with two TVs and a kitchenette, all well appointed. Nicely decorated, modern, comfy beds.

The only slight downside was that it could’ve been a little cleaner: my sister’s pillows pillowcase was stained and the window in one of the bedrooms was very dirty. There was a dead bird outside my bedroom but otherwise this was not off-putting. Would definitely stay here again.

A weekend excursion to Hamilton , had booked on line before leaving home. Arrived early evening to find reception area closed and all communications with reception area via intercom/phone. Directed to Unit. Unit was large and comfortable. - had two nights accommodation booked - no complaints BUT very very strange not having personal contact with any staff at any point of visit - left key in room and drove off....

I have never left a review like this so I’ll begin…. Absolutely terrible place. I would like to be able to say we even had a “stay” but seeing as we left within an hour I’ll start there. No one greated us at reception, we got the key from a lock box after calling the number on the locked reception door. She was very rude. Walking into the room there is a strong smell of mould. Further inspection we found mould on the curtains and all the window sills. Nothing looked like it had been thoroughly cleaned properly in years. The bedding was very well used and manky. There were two flat well used pillows stuffed into a different sized pillow case. The bed itself was basically falling apart. There’s no heatpump, only a small heater that smelt like it was about to catch fire or was burning toast. Every surface was filthy. I filled up the spa pool in hopes it could redeem itself but no, the jets didn’t work at all and the hot water was mildly warm. Everything felt disgusting, so we made the decision to leave and stay elsewhere. I tried to call the reception but the owners didn’t answer so I sent them an email explaining why we were going and that I wasn’t paying for the room. I still haven’t heard back at all. I would not go back if you paid me to, I don’t know how they are still allowed to be open for business.

At best this is a 1 star motel. The receptionist spoke broken English and was not very welcoming. Considering we had booked around 10 rooms for various family members I would think you would make a special effort, but no. The breakfast was adequate at most but $18 for average food is crazy. The shower was like a water blaster when turned on. The decor is warm and dated and the lighting poor. So many things that not worth listing them.

Booked in for 2 nights with 2 other family members to attend a family funeral, emailed to say we would be late arriving and given instructions to call on arrival. Directed to a unit at the back of the property. The motel seems to be subleased to a housing agency as there seem to be long term tenants settled there. There was washing hanging outside units, rubbish lying around the motel.
The unit was incredibly dated and unlike the photos on the website. There were missing light bulbs in the bedrooms, a noisy fan in the bathroom, no milk in the fridge, and a general feeling of insecurity. We decided to leave after 1 night, informing the reception by phone of our decision as there was no-one on site at 8.30 in the morning. I emailed to confirm my verbal request of a refund of $170 as I had booked through the website.
I have since emailed (6 days later) and again requested a refund for the night not used with no response.

I can not understand why this is classified as a 4 star motel. This is our 4th motel in the last week, the filthiest and most under provided out of the 4 but the most expensive.
No one to greet you at reception. You have to ring a number and they will come when THEY are ready. Not very friendly.
No milk, no bath mat, no face cloths, no dish cloth. Two towels, two flat pillows and filthy dirty. Two quarter rolls of toilet paper. When I asked for more, the response was, we are running low on supplies. We did get more toilet paper and a couple more towels to use as bath mats. The room was dark and gloomy. The only light switch was by the front door so after you turned it off, you had to try and find the bed. Thankfully I travel with a torch.
At $140 per night, they should be able to purchase more if they are running low.
The cleaning cart sat in the same position for the 2 days we were there. Rooms definitely not serviced daily.
The grounds are full of rubbish, weeds and long grass.
I asked about returning the key on checkout as no one is normally at reception and was told to throw it through the window.
I would never stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.

I had booked an overnight stay 30th April 2021. However did NOT stay there, It was disgusting. My daughter and I were given room 27, just opening the front door we could smell a foul odor, which continued throughout the unit. When I went to open the back bedroom window for fresh air, I saw the grass area was littered with rubbish, empty bottles and a USED TAMPON!! YUCK!! the master bed was broken, if you lie on it, you rolled. The ceiling above bed was dirty, mouldy looking and the walls in the whole unit were dirty. There were flies everywhere. Did somebody die in there? My 13yr old daughter with me has asthma and could not stay in the room for long. We opened windows and went out for a while. Came back and still the same smell, so we had to leave and pay for another motel. The motel we went to a few door down said they often have people from Aspen call them not wanting to stay there. Why do they continue to run this motel? I would not let my pet dogs stay in this motel. Nobody was around to talk to at reception, so we left and threw the key in the window. Does not rate, I had to choose one star or it wouldn't save, this is certainly a no star rating.

Really disappointed and not what we thought it would be.
False advertising at its finest, on arrival and after seeing the room we complained and we were told if we wanted a cleaner room that didn’t smell like cigarette smoke and have holes in the carpet etc etc we needed to pay more for a “better room”. It is being used for emergency housing. Didn’t feel safe staying here with the people who were hanging around the rooms so had to go elsewhere. No refunds, management was rude and couldn’t care less about the derelict state of the rooms and insist that they are as advertised when they are clearly not. Couldn’t pay me to stay here, don’t waste your money!

Booked to stay here for work. My company paid premium rates. But the room smells of smoke ,and there is a filthy spa bath in the main bedroom with actual sediment and dirt all over the inside of it. The room is shabby and dated, and did I mention the smell?
