Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very large room with 2 x lounge chairs. Spacious bathroom with bath. Well provisioned kitchen. Spotlessly clean. Covered smokers area under the outdoor stairs. Dairy on the corner. Best Indian takeaway nearby. Very reasonable price. Will stay again.

Nearly the only motel with a spare room, check in was easy though talking into an intercom was a little nerve racking. Once checked in was shown where room was the room was comfortable with a large spa bath to enjoy. The power did go out during the night which was weather related. Bed was comfortable, and sleep was good. Very friendly lady behind the counter.

What a friendly manager/owner? He was so friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean and tidy. Was lovely having a kitchenette with cooking facilities. Were getting tired of eating out. Beds were comfy and warm. Free car parking. We sat out on balcony in the sun for lunch. Would definitely stay here again

I have never been so abused by the manager of this hotel. Rude, Bad Tempered and absolutely shocking. I also happen to notice that I am not the only one to mention this. I am totally surprised how you manage your hotel with your shocking abuse. Good luck finding guests, as I will certainly book else where

Helpful host; a comfortable, clean and well-appointed room. Convenient location. Good Wi-Fi. The hostess went above and beyond with service. The bedroom, despite being at the street-side, was quiet. The plasma screen was huge.

Very nice room, lovely people, outdoor hot tub was brilliant. We stayed 1 night on a 21 day tour of NZ. Hamilton town isn't that interesting but Hamilton Gardens are brilliant. Worth visiting the area just to see them.

Very good motel, clean and central, easy to reach. It was suggested by the local tourist office and i could visit also the Hamilton Gardens, which are impressive too. Nearby the motel you'll find shopping and eating facilities too.

The room was warm and the bed comfortable this is another one of those motels that say it would be appreciated if you could either clean your dishes or rinse them and leave them in the sink in warm water. What happened to housekeeping doing the cleaning this is another way to give less hours to the housekeepers and save the motel money what happened to full service. In our experience if you asked the guests to clean their own dishes they just rinse them and put them back in the cupboard still dirty and the cleaners will not check them as their cleaning time has been cut. Sky movies was advertised but it wasn't available .

Clean and tidy but not very good for no road noise. Slept in lounge - good for price I guess - must be other options without street noise? Room was made up everyday, and it felt pretty safe. Diary on the corner.
