Definitely in need of an upgrade. Rooms are on the smaller end of the spectrum. Parking was very limited. Towels weren't changed in the 3 days we stayed even though the booklet said they would be changed daily. The booklet also warned we would be charged extra if we didn't wash the dishes. Beds are very soft. Place is looking old and thus unclean feeling. Ours had a huge stain on the carpet and bathroom looking like it hasn't seen a deep clean in some time. For $230 a night there needs to be some improvement. Will be looking elsewhere when we next stay in Hamilton.

Our stay in the motel was very comfortable and we appreciated that the coffee/tea making facilities were provided. The room was clean, slightly worn but well acceptable. The receptionist was most helpful arranging a perfectly safe parking for our motorbike.

Nothing like pictures advertised, note no tourist reviews for a long time. Charged $40 to cancel a 3 night stay after the first horrendous night visit. Business traveler and not impressed with management of the complaint. They agreed they hadn't fumigated for a while when cockroaches mentioned. Would never recommend

We were in Hamilton for a week on business and stayed at the Stadium Motel, in one of three 2 bedroom duplex apartments located adjacent to the main accommodation wing. Lets start with the positives: Our host was a lovely lady who was very pleasant. The motel is not used for MSD emergency housing and our unit had quite new TV's in both bedrooms and a very large TV in the living area with good picture quality. And now for the negatives: Our apartment was tired, uncared for and worse, it was not clean. Stadium Motel is a very standard type of lodging that was probably built about 20 years ago, and since then has apparently enjoyed little maintenance and no refurbishment. Many of the fixtures and furnishings are stained, dented, broken or just old and tatty. But it was the lack of cleanliness that was most concerning. Crusty food splatters in the microwave and on a dinnerplate, dirty windows and walls, dusty grime covered appliances and surfaces, and curtains hanging off the rails were some of the faults that quite obviously have gone unattended for months or years. Much of this could be easily rectified with a scheduled maintenance and cleaning program, which I did bring to the attention of our lovely host. Stadium Motel may never be the destination for a family vacation or a romantic getaway, but it should be an okay place to stay, which sadly at the moment it's not. Instead it was a rather depressing place to be.

For a short stay this was more than adequate. Excellent room upstairs with spa (I did not try) and shower in a big bathroom, comfortable bed and adequate fridge. Good value for money and quiet even though several units were occupied. Friendly helpful staff.

I needed milk alternative and the owner was very obliging and bought almond milk for me immediately and that is god sent if you're vegan. Rest is of the facility is same as other motels I guess. All motels are in the same area and its about 5 minutes drive to so called city centre - whats its worth!

Great location, but outside the city centre. About 25 minute walk into the centre. Room was large and had everything you'd want for a short stay. Bathroom was large and clean. Would recommend this place.
