I book their premise through booking.com. They canceled my booking without any call on the day i have checked in around 2pm 24th of May which i suppose to checked in. When i reached the premise, it closed. There is no receiptionist there. So i press the intercom button and the guy told me there is no such booking and hung up my call. I called repeatedly for a good 30 minutes and they keep asking me to wait and the line just went dead until i decided to change my hotel with my sons. It was really terrible experience. How could they just cancel my booking on the DAY i suppose to check in even when i did not tell them. Worst, they charged my credit card. If you are arriving later than 7pm, don;t even bother to book at this premise
The rooms consist of a living room with kitchen and a separate sleeping room. The style is a old fashioned and the rooms need urgently a renovation. For breakfast we had to step outside. Not recommended for business trips.
I needed accommodation in the cbd, and Quest on Ward fit the bill nicely, nicely appointed with kitchen, and a washer/drier. There was a balcony, and off street parking behind the building. Across the road from the main shopping mall. And only minutes to restaurants, pubs, theatres and the bus station. The concierge was very accommodating as well. Would stay again.
The location was great for what we needed. We had a private tour guide for the 3 days we stayed so we were able to grab dinner the night we had available and grab breakfast at the mall or cafe's before leaving. Do not go for the continental breakfast it is NOT included (as it is here in USA) and it was terrible. We did not even touch it. The space was good and there is a washer dryer which was helpful for us due to the adventure filled days we had planned. AC and Wifi worked well. A good value place to stay.
Very convenient, spacious and even had a mini-balcony. Close to shopping and the bus terminal. Fully furnished including a kitchen and a combination washer dryer in the suite which was suitable for small loads. Concierge was very friendly and helpful.
Wonderful helpful reception staff and spotlessly clean well appointed accomodation. On the down side the bed was not very comgortable and pillows so very hard. Not a good sleep and nothing much to watch on the TV with no Sky!. I would go again if I really needed central city accom......but would definately at least take my own pillows!
Very clean, well appointed and central to eats etc in Hamilton. Roomy and modern. Parking is close by and quite accessible. Bit noisy in early hours with council road sweeper so don’t leave balcony doors open
Had a one night stay here and loved the location. Whilst the room was nice and clean and a good size the decor was very dark. There was a broken shower shelf fixture and no shelving for your toilet or hooks to hang your clothing. It was nice to have the tiny balcony but it was at the back of the building overlooking a car park. Liked being able to park our rental vehicle in a secure building next door but checkin process was hampered by not being able to park anywhere because tradies working behind the building were using guest car parking. Would have been nice to have Sky TV channels but having free internet was good. I must commend the hospitality of the young man at reception who went out of his way to be of assistance.
We have stayed in other Quest properties in NZ and have found them modern, clean and comfortable, but not this one in Hamilton. We had a room at the back overlooking the car park, which was dark and dreary. There was no comfortable seating, only 2 dining chairs and the pillows were old and lumpy with 1 very thin excuse for a pillow in the wardrobe as an alternative. The bathroom was a cavern with an old drain in the middle of the floor and the shower tray had a small hole in it. On arrival we asked for the continental breakfast package and was told they had run out and that we could go to one of the local cafes for breakfast. Not too much of a problem, but not what we expected. The good points were that it was within walking distance of restaurants for dinner and you could get secure parking if requested.…
What a great hotel. Receptionist guy was so very friendly and helpful. Clean large and convenient hotel with large comfy rooms and everything you need for a stay in Hamilton. Very highly recommended. Parking can be obtained undercover at $14 per day or you can hope you get a park outside in the alley.
