I think it's actually called the Gisborne Motel. It's on the main road into town. We stayed two nights after our car broke down. Staff were very accomodating at our 8:30pm check in. Interiors were dated but seriously, at just $90 a night, it was a bargain. Our room had a kitchen, good sized bar fridge, TV, dining table & spacious living area. We walked to town twice & it was an easy walk. Bed was soooo comfy (made me think we need a new bed at home) and no road noise. We had our 1 year old with us & there was nothing in the room that she could get her hands on too easily. I'd recommend this motel for price, followed by the kitchen & comfy bed

Lovely comfortable place to stay. Very helpful, friendly staff and I highly recommend. I didn't use any of their services as it was a business trip. I will go back.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights during the tour we were doing. The room we had was comfortable and a good size, it even hadf a 4 poster bed and was called the Honeymoon Suite (we have been married for 50 years), we had a nice continental breakfasts, and the dinners were excellant . The service was good and the owners very helpful. Probably the only complaint was that it was some distance from Gisborne proper
