My partner & I were doing a weekend away on our motorcycles. We chose the Beachcomber because of the price & location, were satisfied on both accounts. The Manager suggest parking our Ducati's out of site of the road behind a newly constructed wall, which also gave us peace of mind. The owner of the Beachcomber Motel are currently doing major up grades to the units & they're looking real nice.(not that you would have known as we weren't inconvenienced in anyway.) Would I stay here again? Absolutely

we were in Gisborne for a sports event, I had contacted and made sure we could stay an extra night - that was fine :-) we had trouble finding the place [ not all ppl have GPS], it was advertised as Motel when in fact the 'hidden' sign said 'apartments', however they were in the middle of reno's. We were welcomed by staff, shown our way, given our milk but no further milk was offered over nxt 3 days [we bought our own], rooms were great, beds were great. right over the road from the beach with super view. Overall very good, need to sort out signage :-)
