We certainly weren't expecting much due to the very reasonable price for a 2 bedroom unit, but we were extremely surprised at the deal! Spacious, clean, quiet, and everything we needed. Absolutely would recommend this place to stay. Worth writing a positive review about.

Our group of 10 stayed here for 4 nights. A little out of the city but no drama. Great rooms. Good beds. Wonderful staff - so friendly and ready to help with any need.
The pool area is spotless and beautifully landscaped. 3 cheers to Thelma and her team.
Studio rooms don't have all the facilities the other rooms have but sufficient

Our family of five really enjoyed staying here this summer. We stayed for 7 nights while we explored Gisborne and the surrounding area. We were able to get connecting rooms which had plenty of space for the five of us. The kids loved the pool, and it was good to have access to the motel’s bikes (we rode to Kaiti beach one day).

Location was really good, just out of town, close to Wainui Beach which had excellent body boarding.

I was especially impressed with the cleanliness, spaciousness, and the friendly helpful hosts.

Thank you so much for your glowing review. It was so good that you were able to be accommodated in the inter-connecting Units, which, as you say, gave you plenty of space for the five of you. We are fortunate to have the pool and the bikes and it is so good to see the kids outside enjoying themselves. We have a great team of Cleaning Technicians, which I will pass on your mention to them, which I know they all will appreciate it - Thank You. Hope to see you again in Gisborne one day so we can repeat your stay. In the meantime, Take Care, Travel Safely and All the Best for 2021.

I don't think it's worth the money at all. Room is a bit dated. Fridge wasn't working for a day as it was switched off. Cleaners switch off every single socket when they clean the room, so that I couldn't use the jets at all. For 250nzd per night it's not acceptable. Pool could be cleaned as well and is very small. Look elsewhere

My teen stayed here one night on January 1, 2023. He needed to book an extra room as his friend was unwell and he was told that there couldn’t be three to a room. He was then charged $570 for a standard king room. Their pricing suggests rooms are usually between $125-$195/ night. I can understand a surcharge at this time of year, but this is extortionate. I called the hotel as I thought there was a mistake. They told me they felt fine about this charge at this time of year. So disappointing for a kiwi business that they feel fine taking advantage of a young person.

I stayed overnight on my trip up around the East Cape and.I would highly recommend this motel to anyone staying in Gisborne. It was clean and very comfortable (I had a great night's sleep) and at a reasonable rate. The service was of a high standard and the owners were friendly and helpful. It will be my go-to place in Gisborne.

We were travelling around the East Cape with friends. We stayed two nights at the Oasis. The rooms were very clean, of a good size and had all that one would expect. Hosts were excellent. Very helpful and accommodating. My wife left two earrings beside the bed. Within some 5 minutes of departing we had a phone call to let us know they were there. It was still easy for us to turn around and head back which was great. Many thanks for the honesty and service provided. Highly recommend. The accommodation is a couple of Kms out of town so a car is needed. Many thanks to the hosts.

Thank you Reynard1 for your lovely review and great score. Its amazing how many items are left behind, even when we have asked the vacating guest if they have checked everywhere. This is why I try and go and inspect the room as soon as one departs - to look in all those places that are sometime too obvious. Yes, a vehicle is definitely needed as town is about 4 ks away - although we do have bikes that can be used.......if you dont have too many items to carry. Thank you again and please keep safe and well. Take Care

Loved it here, would definitely stay again and would recommend to others!!! Great rooms, very comfortable and enough room. I was here on business, but had my son with me as family in Gisborne. We loved the heated pool and lots of areas to sit around with umbrellas and tables - he spent 3 hours in there one night!! I also used the conference room - great space and had all I needed. We would have loved to use the bikes and scooters, but ran out of time. Lastly the staff are wonderful, nothing was a problem and so super friendly - the best hosts!

Thank You Melissa for your lovely review. It was truly great having you stay with us while you worked in our Conference Room. Next time you come you will have to create some "me" time so that you can use the bikes etc. With the weather FINALLY behaving itself and being summer weather, the pool is a great asset and so refreshing and relaxing. I will pass on your lovely comments to our Cleaners, we are so lucky to have a great group of girls working for us - Thank You. Until next time, Take Care and Travel Safely. Cheers
