We had travelled from Gisborne today and we're headed towards Wairoa. After a longish drive we come across a sign for home made baking at the Morere Tearooms and Camping Ground. The tearooms and campground were set back from the road in a beautiful grove...More

We did not stay at the camping ground but enjoyed a lovely bowl of hot chips and coffee on way to Gisborne from National Park. Clean, tidy and friendly. The camping ground looked very nice from where we were sitting.

The lady boss Wendy is very friendly and nice, the cakes and pastries are handmade by her and her staff. The camp site is super clean, really surprised that the kitchen look almost like new renovated, shower room is very clean too, the hot water...More

We stayed in a cabin near the cafe on the main road. It wasnt that bad but it was very basic. It is old and very dated, but clean. We had a kettle and coffee/tea supplies but that was it. No fridge. No tv. Trucks...More
