Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a great stay here at Quest. The room was super comfy as was the bed. Everything we needed was provided. Great location, only a 10 minute walk to the Sky Tower. Supermarket can be found exiting the hotel and turning right at the top of the street. The biggest plus for us were the helpful reception staff. We spoke to 2 ladies on different days and both were really helpful and accommodating. Would defo visit again. Thank you Quest.

We booked a 2 bed unit (studio plus 1 bed unit interconnected) very last minute due to flight cancelation. Best last minute find ever! Great facilities, super clean and so nice teenagers had space and a bathroom of their own. Both bathrooms had washer/dryers with detergent - brilliant. Nice to have kitchen facilities and a little lounge with a nice view of Skytower. Walking distance to Viaduct, good coffee and supermarket very close. Lovely helpful staff. This will be my go-to Auckland hotel in future.

It’s hard to believe that this Quest is worse than the one on Hobson but it is. The washer overflowed, we couldn’t get the TV to turn off and the couch looked like something bought at a thrift store. Don’t let the reviews fool you. They must have paid someone to write them. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Sheraton Four Points if you’re in Auckland.

We booked apartment 202/203 and it is small but great for a quick few days in Auckland with 3 adults and 2 young kids (2&3). Kitchen is well stocked and beautiful view. Has washing facilities Which was very helpful and great location. Salome at the front desk was the most wonderful woman, so kind and patient. There is a huge New World shopping centre walking distance that had the best fresh orange juice. Is very close to the zoo and other sights. Definitely recommend

My wife and I stayed at Quest on Beaumont during July, August and September 2021, the last 5 weeks during lockdown. The facilities were excellent, we had a one room apartment, with kitchenette and laundry. We can’t speak highly enough of the team, who were always keen to understand what we needed and how they could deliver it. Due to the lockdown we had a few unique requirements, Melanie and Greg were happy to listen to us and even happier to help. I would recommend a stay at Quest on Beaumont, without hesitation, to anybody needing accomodation in Auckland.

We had planned a two-day stay but coronavirus lockdown meant we stayed in this wonderful hotel for about a month. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful during this difficult time, especially Kylie, Salome and Kyle on reception, who were always ready with a smile and helpful advice. Our initial stay was in a studio room, which had a two-ring hob and microwave, as well as a washing machine and dryer, but we moved to a one-bedroom apartment for most of our stay. We were shown several different layouts of the one-bedroom apartments. We had a hob and full oven, as well as a fridge-freezer. The one we chose had a small desk in an alcove at the side of the main sitting area. The bedroom was separated from the main room by a sliding door, and both rooms had their own TV. There were no opening windows, but the air con was effective and very quiet. Our room looked out over Victoria Park and the Sky Tower. There is a New World supermarket about 5 mins' walk away, and it was an easy stroll to the Wynyard Quarter and marina, with lovely walks along the sea front. The centre of Auckland was about 15 mins walk away. We were able to return our hire car to the town office before walking back to the hotel. We loved this place and were made to feel so welcome; we will definitely return.

Did a lot of research for our 5 night stay in Auckland. We picked a gem in staying at this apartment hotel. Staff were excellent both front of house and cleaning. Room was super clean, beds and shower all excellent. Very roomy 1 bedroom room with everything you need for a short term stay including washing machine and separate dryer. Location wise it was an easy walk to the waterfront as well as to CBD area. Plenty of choices close by to have dinner or a cuppa. There is also a small cafe next to Quest where you can enjoy breakfast etc. It was also excellent. Easy access from the Airport, disabled access excellent as area was flat etc. Could not fault our choice...when returning back to Auckland, I dont need to do any research as I have found my perfect place.
