Renovated but issues, a big step up into the shower which is extremely slow draining, no outdoor furniture on the ground floor units, why? No room for two to have a meal in the room, air con useless, had it on 18 and the room was still very hot and stuffy. Needs some care when it comes to attention to detail, cleaners could do better and stickers need to be removed from new toilets etc. Good point, extremely friendly staff

Good morning DudleyandFreda, Thank you for your online feedback, We have now replaced every bathroom and fully renovated each room in the hotel. There is no more big step in the shower and all drainage has been inspected and upgraded with the new hotel refurbishment. Thank you for letting us know about the plumbing stickers, these have now been removed. We pride ourselves on our customer service so it is pleasing to see you enjoyed interacting with our team. Straight across the road from the renowned Parnell Rose Gardens stands the Auckland Rose Park Hotel. Comparatively, room rates are acceptable and rooms are of good condition as the place appears to have had a refurbished recently.
Service was a bit light on the ground to enable us to get the better room rates such as one person at reception and a cook and a waiter at restaurant and cleaning staff stretch to the limit.
ADVICE: Give them a try.

It's always been comfortable and i stay regulalry, but the recent refurbishment has done wonders for the place. Really like the bathrooms and new TV set up, the paint job of the main building really tidied it up. Can't wait for the upcoming upgrades as well. So good to finally have a very, very good quality family accommodation option on the city fringe. Just can't be beat.

I’ve never been treated worst in an hotel reception. Hotel personnel should understand that not everyone in the world is a native English speaker and that is not reason enough to not be treated respectfully. Rest of things were not bad, but the first impression couldn’t be worst

Stayed in the recently renovated rooms extremely nice 👍 extremely comfortable with silent air ac keeping me warm and great new shower . Y v had great selection etc staff were helpful and perhaps the most indispensable attraction is a safe car park- not to be underestimated in Auckland’s terrible parking and accessibility of vehicles
