• Luggage storage room available. Laundry service avail on site (4 bucks for washing machine, 4 bucks for dryer & 2 bucks for washing powder), Ironing service was free of charge.
• Toothbrush & Toothpaste were available upon purchase @ the reception. Hot water, box fan, kettle, small fridge, tea, coffee, sugar, clean towel, soap, shampoo were all avail.
The first two nights I stayed, I had to use a shared bathroom, however, it was very clean. After that I extended my stay where I was moved to another room which included a bathroom.
Also, perfect location as it is situated on the busiest street in the city centre where you'll find a lot of restaurants & shops nearby even supermarkets.
* The down part was that it gets very noisy at night, you could hear the traffic & people on the street screaming. Plus, the mattress wasn't in its best shape.

Located on the bustling Queen Street, the hotel is clean, affordable, rooms cleaned daily, free wifi. No breakfast available. Payment by cash or card is fine. In general, the price is suitable for the quality of service 👌 I booked a room through booking.com, very convenient.

We stayed two nights in a double en-suite and it was clean and functional with plentiful hot water and a little fridge and kettle. The decor is dated and a bit weary and it doesn’t win points on atmosphere. Staff were courteous and the central-ish location (top of Queen St) makes it a good value option if you can get a deal here.

If this hotel had managed to bother to reply to my emails i probably would not be posting this review I made a booking through Emirates Skywards for one night 12/3/24 for a single room with bathroom booking 688037670.
When i arrived at the hotel the person at check in claimed that I had booked a room without bathroom. When I advised him that he was wrong he got defensive and insisted that he was not wrong as I did not have a copy of my booking with me and realized that I would probably not get a refund and not being willing to search for other accommodation I unwillingly accepted the cheaper room. In an attempt to prove he was right he gave me a printout of the booking showing room without bathroom.
On returning home and checking my booking on my email from Skywards it stated room with bathroom. confused I checked the printout given to me from the hotel and it was for a completely different booking and from a different booking company booking 1154445037 that I made but now will cancel for the dates of 18/6/24 for one night not the booking made for March 2024,
If the staff member had bothered to check this maybe he might have provided what I had paid for but he just smugly thrust the printout at me. I advised him at this stage that if he was wrong I would require a full refund of my booking calculated at the rate of the room that i had booked which is probably why this hotel has not contacted me.
Currently under the New Zealand consumer guarantee act the did not provide a service that I had payed for and as they gave me a room without bathroom or TV there was a TV program that I really wanted to watch therefore the room was not fit for the purpose that I wanted from this hotel stay
needless to say I feel ripped off by this hotel and although I have stayed previously I have no wish to return
Also the condition of the share bathrooms are now of a poor state and need to be better maintained, Breakfast is no longer available and it has become more like a budget lodge not a hotel
This hotel runs the risk of damaging NZ reputation in the tourist industry

Perfectly clean, even the decorative bed cover smelt freshly washed. I had an ensuite with a fridge, and there is a microwave and toaster next to reception. The staff were lovely, and the big hotel was busy with a good mix of backpacker ages and older on holiday, and all were well behaved. The location is ideal, walking distance to most tourist activities, with a bus stop right outside, and very safe.

I flew into Auckland for a 5 day stay from Norfolk Island and was so impressed by this great budget hotel. Staff at check in were efficient and helpful and the rooms very affordable. The hotel is walking distance to Auckland CBD and some funky cool bars, cafes and coffee shops on New Zealand’s iconic K Road. What really really impressed me was the cleanliness of this hotel, it was just immaculate it would have to be the Cleanest Hotel I have ever stayed in. Well done to all the housekeepers and staff 10 out of 10.

Way above average 2 Star hotel. In a great neighborhood with excellent public transportation, a 20 minute walk to the ferry terminal and CBD (you don't have to walk it, but you'll want to). The staff is great, Hotel is clean and quiet. Not all rooms have private baths, so pay attention when booking. Will definitely stay here again when in Auckland (5 night stay). And did I mention the big park directly behind the hotel?

It's a little far from downtown, but if you're not in a hurry, you can walk there. Hotels in Auckland are expensive, so I felt this was very cost-effective. I hope you don't mind the shared bathroom and toilet. There is no hair dryer, refrigerator, or microwave. There is a water tap in the room, which was convenient. Towels, shampoo, and soap were provided in the room. The birds' chirping is a little loud in the morning. The elevator movement was a little scary, but it was manageable.

Stayed here for the first time for 2 nights last week and all I can say it was an overall good experience indeed. Friendly staff, clean rooms and at the hub of the CBD jn Auckland you can't get any better than this. Wifi excess, luggage storage after checking out was just so convenient. I will stay here again on my next visit to Auckland. Highly reccomended if you are a solo traveller looking for a budget accomodation this is the place.

The room was clean but you have to sleep with windows open. The workers get loud on what seemed like shift change at 11:00 pm. You could hear all the doors slamming and the workers laughed like school girls directly across the first floor rooms. The parking is also back behind the first floor rooms and it gets loud. I had someone try to open my room door one evening as well. The location is ok. I suggest a place closer to the harbor personally. It was a good price but I wouldn’t stay here again due to all the noise.

We didn't have a cat either (or a car) and just walked although there is a bus stop just outside the hotel which also serves the airport. You are never too far from anywhere.
