We enjoyed our 2 night stay in a 2 bedroom apartment. A lady phoned early in the morning to double check our room/ bedding arrangements which meant everything was spot on when we arrived. The apartment was well appointed and had all the things necessary for a comfortable stay. We ate out the first night and cooked our own meal the second night using the kitchen. Breakfast packs were provided in your room - with cereal, bread, juice, milk, etc. or there is the option to have breakfast downstairs. We found the Quest to be central to everything including restaurants, shops and attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Very centrally located, clean and well appointed, walking distance to shopping district, plenty of eating joints, well connected with good public transport.Though well equipped with a washing machine, drier as well as a kitchenette,tv etc, rooms are not too large.A nice balcony attached has views of Queen street, and plenty of sun too.
The place has a nice buffet breakfast, but no eggs served, only fruits, breads, juices, yoghurts and beverages.
The staff is nice and friendly.Rooms are either studio apts or regular double ,single beds.A little pricey though, but perfect otherwise.

My daughter and I chose this accommodation for the second time while in Auckland, because of the location that is very convenient to everywhere you go around the central. Our room was on the 8th floor, very quiet and never even heard the construction noise from the next building. Room was very clean, and bed was very comfy.

Another reason is the manager (I think she was) that was easy to deal with. Staffs were very friendly and accommodating. What made me stay here again was because of the facility that is fully self-contained. So even though we ended up staying for more extra nights, we didn’t spend much money on food.

I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family and will definitely stay here again and again when I’m in Auckland.

Chose this particular Quest as it was close to Skytower for New Years Eve fireworks Had 2 bedroom apartment & size was good. Asked for high floor with a skytower view Got high floor but no view 🙁. Continental breakfast packs were placed in room every day. Restaurant closed due to public holidays No room servicing due to public holidays Lucky we’re tidy people lol. Extra towels soap was available at front desk. Overall this Quest is in great need of refurbishment. Stayed in many Quests in NZ & Australia so a little disappointed with room appointments On the upside you can easily walk to CBD & parking costs are reasonable

Had booked 2 nights at another hotel that had no hot water - checked out 9am after the first night and scrambled to find another hotel for us. Called Quest and explained the situation, they gave us a room $25 cheaper and allowed us to check in 3 hours early. Lovely receptionist and staff, clean room, nice and quiet with lovely view, central to everything - we literally walked the whole weekend. Dryer + washing machine in the room which was a huge bonus. Will be staying at quest again at our next visit. Highly recommend

Quest Highbrook is a nice property, it’s an A grade AirBnb … yes Bed quality is outstanding and 5 star and breakfast is absent. But I won’t recommend for short time visits. Especially to arrive on a weekend, importantly if you are first timer in Auckland and within that if you are an Asian and used to 5 star hotel services .. you will be in a shocking surprise ..

I was welcomed by a text in a colleagues phone to collect my key from a safe box with a code …. Highbrook is a corporate / industrial part of Auckland and high is a concrete jungle with absolute absence of anything on weekend. If you arrive past 7 PM on a weekend night plan to go to bed fasting. There isn’t anything / anywhere where you can get somethjng. Once you are in the room, quality is good with full facilities of a serviced apartment.

Property doesn’t have a gym, but adjacent to a 24/7 gym next door for a charge. Property doesn’t offer breakfast services and depend on a deli next door that works office hours you can order a breakfast for NZD 15 and you see what you get as I pasted a photo ( plus couple of bread slices. Cheese and bacon) small milk, juice tetrapacks.

It will cost NZD 200 but we also have four points hotel that does NZD 234 with breakfast. Gym
Services and actually people manning desks and helping.

Property is good for long term stay. As it’s a serviced apartment. Question is at NZD 200 a day is it value for money.

You always know what you will get with Quest - a decent sized room containing a large comfortable bed, TV, a small balcony, a kitchenette, washing machine and drier. It is on one of the main streets (Queen St), although a 15 minute walk from the harbourside. Staff always helpful, so a comfortable stay all round.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment, it was spacious and comfortable. Location is excellent, it's in the main street of Auckland, just a 10 minute stroll and there are all the shops, restaurants you could want. Another 5 minutes and you're at the harbour, where the ferries depart from to a number of different islands and locations outside the city.

A somewhat tired, but not unclean room.

Nice amenities, including complimentary (but simple) breakfast in the room. Great to have a washing machine and tumble dryer also.

Room decor was a bit faded and old, with chipped paint and generally tired.

Air conditioning unit was too noisy to have on at night unfortunately.

However the bed was comfortable enough which is what counts.
