The beds were of the usual high Accor standard with spare pillows, blankets and quilt in the hallway cupboard. The kitchen was fully equipped with good sized fridge, microwave oven, regular oven, electric stove top, small dishwasher and pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. Nothing really has been forgotten in the suite’s fixtures and fittings.

Staff were very helpful. Easy access to the city centre and the harbor.
Staff were very helpful.

As an accor gold member I was offered a late checkout as well as an early checkin and was left with some goodies like beer, water, chocolates etc.
The apartment was large and had a full kitchen, bathroom and a laundry, so self contained. Its was great to be able to wash our clothes after travelling for 3 weeks.
Views from our room on the 23 floor (room 2303) were sensational of the harbour. There was a large balcony to enjoy these views.
Location was great and a very short stroll to the harbour, britomart, viaduct or wynyard quarter. You are surrounded by bars and restaurants.
Whilst some reviewers indicated noise issues from the 23rd floor I experienced none.
Whilst apartment was dated and did show wear and tear on the walls we easily happy to trade this for the apartment being self contained, great views and plenty of space.
I would be more than happy top stay here again if I return to Auckland.
There is no real down side to this as self catering accommodation (our apartment had fridge, cooker, microwave, washing machine etc) but equipment is minimal ( pots, plates etc) if that matters and it’s worth saying that the views of the harbour are compromised by the tall buildings in this area but you can still see bits of it. Moreover, beware of taxi rip offs since lots of cruise ships come in and people can’t resist making a few quid - eg we wanted to go up to Parnell Village and we’re quoted $50 by one of the ‘lads’ by the harbour but with a proper taxi (use those with 300 3000) it was $18. So never get into a taxi without sorting out a price first. And Auckland is expensive. Best tip - on your first day use the hop on hop off bus to see round the city.
Happily go back to this accommodation, however, and nothing negative to say about it.
Very impressed with the size & facilities in the one bedroom apartment. The rooms and balcony are so spacious.
We did have an issue with the sofa bed being unavailable during our first stay & the website should make it clear that this may be the case as we booked the hotel specifically to use the sofa bed. However, a rollaway single bed was provided instead as well as complimentary drinks in recognition of the convenience.
We also chose the hotel as it has a pool, so it was disappointing that the renovations which were ongoing in March 2020 have not been completed yet. Perhaps the hotel should remove the photos & description of the pool unless completion is genuinely imminent.
Loved the UP cafe food & vibe, although this is a separate business.
The staff were extremely helpful. I genuinely don’t believe that you’ll find better or more spacious accommodation so close to the harbour - highly recommend & would stay again for sure.
Very little sounds creeps in from outside giving a quiet and relaxing experience.
The staff, available 24/7 was incredibly helpful and went out of their way to assist.
And the location could not be better suited to explore Auckland CBD and walk along the beautiful waterfront.
Also, the restraunt up located on the mezzanine is as good as they come.
Would highly recommend staying here
"Ask for a room on the upper levels ie level 24 as the views of the city and harbour are gorgeous, especially from the balcony."Read full review
