I had a lovely stay at the Fable Hotel in Queen Street. The staff, food, ambiance and room was all lovely. The only room for improvement would be to replace the big armchairs in the room with a desk for working if on business but the lobby and dining room were a good alternative. Great value for money too and I will be staying there again on my next trip. Thank you to the team.
Fantastic location, couldnt be better! Loved everything about the hotel. Checked in with complimentary signature blend tea, delicious. Friendly and welcoming staff. The room was so clean, our stay was perfect.
got no sleep due to pounding music from nearby club, still going when we left to go to airport at 3.30am. Restaurant was superb, staff friendly but the whole experience was spoilt once the club started up - even with earplugs.
It is currently 3.30am and I am lying here with screaming, shouting, banging music, loud cars - to the point where the windows actually shake. The description states ‘soundproof’ and ‘quiet’ but this is FAR from that. This was my one night away from my 4 kids to pamper myself before I graduate uni and I am already exhausted and frustrated that I chose this place. I have stayed in nearly every 5 star hotel in Auckland CBD and have never experienced the kind of disruptive noise that I am experiencing here. I am also dreading lugging my bags the 10 mins walk up the road to the local Wilson car park which is the only option if you have a vehicle. I’m in a deluxe queen room which is cute and fine for one person, I wouldn’t have felt it was big enough for me and hubby for the price I paid ($515 NZD!!!) which I totally splurged on and now wish I’d just gone back to the Cordis or Sky City Grand. I was reeled in by the heritage building status, but overall I’m feeling extremely disappointed and upset. I will definitely not be back and I will not be recommending to anyone (that I like at least).…
I hope people start reading these reviews because it truly is awful. The noise til 4 am reverberates around the room. No view as all internal rooms . 5 star crikey more 1 star if not less. Great cafe really top quality but staff running this hotel need to do something about the adjoining bar and its music levels. Worst night ever.
I had another wonderful overnight at Fable Auckland. The location is perfect for my needs and the ease of checking in is always a plus for me. The room was beautiful, lovely and clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Our stay here was amazing! The room and hotel have a unique style. The staff is so kind! Pablo really gave us some amazing tips on places to visit! The wonderful ladies at the restaurant were also very kind. They made my boyfriend’s birthday extra special with a lovely cake. Thank you for the lovely stay! Hope to see you again!
Great Hotel , we stayed for two nights Thursday to a Saturday- only downfall was the blaring nightclub close by which you can clearly hear until atleast 2 am in the morning. We stayed on level 6 , two adults and a baby. It would of been great if we had been given a different room away from the noise ( if that’s even possible ) as we had an infant. I understand the hotel has no control over the nightclub but considering it is a 5 star hotel , they need to either advise patrons of the noise in advance or offer some solution. Could not fault the breakfast , the hotel staff or the ammenities.
We really enjoyed our stay at Fable. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel special. All the staff were very warm and welcoming. The rooms are beautiful. We would happily stay here again next time we are in Auckland. Highly recommend!
We stayed at the Fable as soon as Covid allowed us. From the moment we arived we were treated as if we were the most important clients in the Hotel. This continued for both of the two days we stayed. Thanks again for making us feel pampered. Phil and Sallie
