This is a beautiful hotel right on the Auckland waterfront. I had a harbour side room, it was like being on a luxurious ship or cruise! The bed was comfortable and the balcony idyllic with the doors opening out to cool breezes from the sea below and across to the islands, suburbs and small peninsulas which characterise Auckland's topography and seascape. The breakfast is the highlight of staying here, both the nautical themed restaurant where it is served and the delicious, scrumptious and memorable dishes to choose from. My only critique of this hotel is that there is virtually no sound proofing between rooms which limits opportunities for privacy. I could hear complete conservations in the corridor, even though people were speaking in regular voices at normal sound pitch (they weren't loud at all). I could hear a family in the room next door to mine, and they were speaking very quietly. This was not a problem as it was very quiet in the evening, but it could be if there were loud neighbouring guests (or even people who weren't loud but stayed up late watching TV, listening to music or talking - none of these activities would have to be loud to hear them in one's own room). I would like this Hilton to be my "regular", go-too hotel in Auckland, but given the problem with sound proofing between rooms and to corridors I will try other establishments in the meantime during my regular visits to Auckland. But the location and sumptuous reception areas, restaurants, bars, cafes, balconies and verandas would be difficult to surpass.

We have been staying at the Hilton Auckland for a couple of key family birthdays. With another one coming up in September. We like the Hilton Auckland and have had many great experiences at Hilton properties. The team at the Hilton Auckland have been great ensuring that these family events go as well as could and that our family are well looked after. I would go as far to say that the team really get into the planning and execution ensuring these events are memorable for all. One of the team members in particular goes that extra mile to ensure when things sometimes don’t go to plan ( and we all know that sometimes this happens) they are sorted out very quickly. Young Song has been exceptional in respect to dealing with a couple of incidents and turning these around very quickly. We wanted to take the time to acknowledge Young and his team for how they really care about making things right when they sometimes go wrong and we acknowledge there is a certain skill to that that Young certainly has. If you are looking for a fantastic personalised touch during your next holiday, celebration or business trip, get in touch with Young Song and his team at the Hilton Auckland. They are a safe pair of hands! Thanks Young & Team Hilton Auckland.

We were celebrating our honeymoon and couldn’t of picked a better hotel and location. The on-site staff were amazing and the restaurant Fish attended to all our needs. The food was incredible🤗🥰 The location was central to everything and the views were breathtakingly beautiful.

We had 4 nights recently, arriving just after 7 am mid week having landed after a long flight . The hotel is located at the end of a long wharf and it is one of two almost identical buildings on the wharf ( the other apartments) . The hotel was surprisingly full so we had a rather long wait for an early check in . We decided to have an ala carte breakfast at The hotel restaurant . The coffee and food was not the best and the service poor. The front desk staff managed to get us in rooms just after 11 am and we were upgraded to a water view facing the ferry terminals. The room was very spacious and clean. Downside , the bathroom needs an upgrade ( shower handle could not be tilted ) , noise from the corridor could be heard constantly and the deck chairs on the balcony could not be used as cushions were soaked from the rain . House keeping was hit n miss ( towels n spoons missing and one day we returned at 3 pm and room was not serviced) . The fish restaurant was really good for dinner . The hotel is a little further out from the city Centre but close to the pier . There are limited restaurants and coffee close by but it is close to the water . It is a little tired and needs a good reno. The plus .. front desk staff and concierge .. great service

Beautiful lobby, great location but that's where it ends. Showers are hand held showers as opposed to a central shower head with the drain in the middle of the floor instead of to the side. As a diamond member continental breakfast is included however at most Hilton if they offer a buffet you can help yourself to anything (e.g. Hilton Melbourne which is great BTW). You can even order eggs. Here, you are told which sections of the buffet you can touch and I can only assume monitored for the rest. Doesn't work for me so had my breakfast elsewhere. Staying at Hilton Wellington tomorrow and Sydney the day after, we shall see how these unfold.

Awesome customer service and great view. Only thing is the next door guests back to their room around 12 at night and pretty loud and music on at the balcony. Lucky the party finish around 1 am so have good sleep after that.

Hi Hilton Auckland I met with friends at the Bellini Bar on Sat 18 June for a wonderful catch-up before flying back to London. It truly is the perfect spot for atmosphere (cosy with fires and soft lighting), drinks, snacks and enjoying those magnificent harbour views! Thanks so much to the team who looked after us that evening. Bellini Bar is my firm favourite and I'll be back! 🙂🙌

We regularly stay at this great venue, when possible. Our stay is usually two nights each visit. The Reception and Concierge Staff as well as the Bellini Bar and FISH Restaurant Staff are truly delightful and welcome us warmly. We enjoy the full breakfast as well as a pre dinner drink in the Bellini Bar and dinner in the FISH Restaurant when it is open.

Hilton Auckland CBD, not stayed here for many years. I’m pleased to report that it’s maintained high standards, of what you’d expect from a luxury hotel. From helping you in with your bags, to easy check in. This hotel has a wonderful entrance way, several open fires, a well stocked bar, restaurant and coffee that just makes you smile. Our room was a harbour view and it was SPECTACULAR, just gloriously beautiful. Our first night we left our curtains open as the dusk, then night rolled in the city lights came on, breathtakingly stunning. We had a king sized bedroom lots of space bathroom separate bath shower nice and spacious. What I thought was a genius of an idea, they offered you a $25 tab if you didn’t have your room serviced, extra coffees or a wine 🍷. We were treated so well it was just wonderful. Plus they have a good size gym and an outdoor pool. I highly recommend x10. And a massive thank you Hilton for maintaining such high standards.
