we were on 5th floor of building where lift worked sometimes. Apartment had a good outlook toward Ferry harbour and downturn Auckland, tho further waterviews were locked by large Car Carriers on adjacent wharf, we welcomed 3 over 6 days. Apartment was tired, broken fittings etc, very old carpet, but handy location to city etc

Apartment No. 31 was not up to the standard that I would have expected considering the room rate. The carpet was dirty and needed a good clean. The furnishings were tired and faded and needed replacing. The overall effect was that it had been furnished with left-over furniture and was very cluttered. The art work was scary and a bit daunting. The towels were thin and small. It was conveniently located close to the Viaduct and Silo parks and plenty of restaurants close by.
On the plus side, it was very quiet and within walking distance of the main CBD.

Rented a (privately owned) spacious 1 BD/1 BA Princes Wharf apartment (condo) for a week managed by property management firm. Great location in the middle of everything touristy, and a short walk to Queen Street for major shopping/eating. Roughly half the cost of the Hilton on the very same wharf next store. Free parking, full cooking (kitchen) and laundry (washer/dryer) facilities in the unit, and Sky TV/wi-fi internet access. Wonderful views of the harbor and city lights at night. Would definitely return!

Deceptive photos show sea view, it is NOT a sea view but a sea glimpse if you stand on the edge of the balcony and look left! Very shabby and dated decor. Curtain hooks missing and don’t pull across easily. Dishwasher broken. Bed is rock hard. I was told by Laura that i had the best apartment....I’d hate to see the others. The only positive is that it is close to the city, and viaduct. However it is most definitely NOT worth the nearly $300 price tag per night. I asked for a reduction in the room rate because of all the problems and was denied. Never never never stay here.

You collect the keys from Luggage Hotel. The person was not pleasant and treated you like idiots for not understanding what is happening. It is not a "receptionist" experience. We mistakenly got an apartment overlooking what they call a "courtyard" but is actually the service lane between buildings. From the photos we were expecting a sea view. We couldn't see the sea. Even the photos inside the apartment show a sea view. Our balcony was above the big fan from a restaurant so we got smells and sound all the time. There is not aircon so to get cool we opened the doors, but got noise from people out of the nearby bars etc plus fans, cars etc. They were totally inflexible when we complained about misleading advertising. The cancellation fee was 100% of the cost. i.e. nothing. Late bookout is $100 per hour. It was expensive for what we got. The beds were comfortable but the 2nd "bedroom" had no window and no privacy. The screen doors opened onto the lounge and did got reach the ceiling. It would be OK for a couple with kids who did not want a view. But expensive.

The pictures on the site looked impressive but the reality was different.Stayed in apartment 49 and thought I would have a water view but just looked at other apartments . When I checked my voucher in small print did say city view but wouldn't say apartments 15 metres away a city view. The apartment was very dated and the lighting in the bathroom shocking. The worst part was that the bedroom was an internal room with no window but was separated by a sliding partition to the living room which led onto sliding doors leading to a large terrace but the problem was that apartments either side had easy access so did not want to leave door open and risk a burglary. We stayed for 4 nights and had no cleaning service so at the price it was very basic. On the plus side the location is good

Stayed here for the Pink concert...we were met by Laura who took us to park the car and then showed us to our apartment. Great service. The apartment was clean, tidy and with everything we needed including complimentary chocolates. The view was great looking out at the Cloud. Would highly recommend...

We booked accommodation at Princes Wharf Grace Apartments through Qantas Hotels.
Whilst the reviews seemed good and the photos looked good, this place is filthy, dated and not as advertised.
Now, Laura, the contact on arrival, refuses to respond to the contact from Qantas Hotels.
She refuses to take their calls and Qantas Hotels have removed this property from their site based on the actual photos provided and misinformation provided by this property.
There is no reception or check-in. “Laura” meets you in the car park. The property stated “sea facing”. This is incorrect - it faces the Maritime Museum. The property also stated “food and drink included”. This is incorrect. The photos do not show the dated and aged property and do not show the filth inside the property.
There was dirty bedding in the cupboard from previous guests, the heated towel rail was filthy and rusted, there was marks all over the walls, the bed was hard, the pillows were hard, the verandah glass panelling was so filthy you couldn’t see through it, there was green mound on the outdoor table, there was dust on the shelving in the bathroom, rust on the washing machine and generally dirty. The furniture was dated and tired with paint peeling off, the shower was dirty, the carpet had stains, the lounge was stained and the furniture looked like it came from an Op Shop.
This is not what we expected for the high price we paid.

Laura was the key contact, excellent communication and met with us on arrival. Fantastic location and very reasonable pricing. The apartment was spacious, had everything you needed and more, decor a little dated but completely overlooked as it completely comfortable and we had a fantastic stay! Thank you Laura for everything you were amazing!

I am a great worrier and researcher when it comes to making bookings and this time was no different. I had researched months ago where in Auckland to book and thought i had booked a spacious sea view apartment then I found it was an internal view and was a bit disappointed so double checked that it wasn't too small also as we were traveling with a lanky 18 year old. I needed have worried about either, yes it looked over the car park but it was probably quieter than the external ones. It had a large balcony with loungers on and masses of room inside for the large comfortable sofa bed which came with mattress protector, mattress topper, and excellent quality sheets, quilt etc. We had excellent facilities- washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could have needed and more including a bottle of fiz! Oh, and on top of that its also located in the perfect spot on the bustling wharf. 👍🏻

We were met by an agent on arrival for the apartment who took us to our parking area and checked us in. I’m guessing it depends on who you book with as to different check in procedures.
There are more places to choose from in the Auckland Central area.
