I’ve stayed here before for work, and in previous visits, it’s always been brilliant. This time, I stayed in the hotel section rather than the apartments.
During my stay, the fire alarm went off, and everyone had to evacuate. While this was understandably stressful, the team handled the situation really well—it must have been overwhelming for them, so credit to their professionalism. However, my room key stopped working afterward, and I had to get help a couple of times to resolve this.
Breakfast was a bit underwhelming. It would have been great if the kitchen staff could prepare eggs to order rather than just offering scrambled eggs. When I asked for fried eggs, I was told scrambled was the only option, which was disappointing.
The location is very convenient, especially for events at Spark Arena, which was perfect for my kids attending a concert that night. I appreciated being given a tag card for easy in-and-out car park access, which added to the overall convenience.
In terms of the room itself, it was very clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. A couple of minor suggestions: the outdoor furniture on the decks could use a good clean, and the bird droppings on the railings should be addressed. Additionally, navigating the TV channels was a bit tricky.
All in all, it’s a great value stay, and I’d recommend it. With a few small improvements, it could be even better.

Perfect location, clean, modern and comfy interior. Helpful staff. The only negativity is the quality of the kitchen utensils. I think it wouldn’t be a huge investation to buy teflon covered pans which certainly would help customers to cook without worrying how to clean the bottom of it after frying an egg for bf.

Auckland Commercial Bay and grocery stores are both conveniently located. Despite its size, the apartment has many drawbacks. When we first checked in, the apartment smelled like mildew, the oven wasn't working properly so unusable and there weren't any tea towels. We must ask the cleaner or receptionist to replenish things or take away garbage as it is not daily serviced. The apartment is two minutes' walk from the pricey parking lot, and the procedure is not user-friendly. To leave, we must exchange the paper ticket for a swipe card at the apartment reception. Absolute rip-off - I would not recommend it! We booked into this accommodation several months in advance. I had to keep following up with them to get confirmation of our reservation and when I finally heard back from Brooklyn was supplied a confirmation number that actually meant nothing.
So when we arrived at our accommodation, the receptionist quickly asked for my credit card and said that it would be $1799 for the two nights accommodation in a two-bedroom apartment. I was shocked but understood it was a busy weekend in Auckland and assumed that we may have been charged a 'good behaviour bond' that would be credited back to us. I was given no receipt or anything, but I assumed we would get this when we checked out.
So when we arrived in our room we found that the two single beds in one of the rooms were in fact two single beds pushed together to make a double - i didn't say anything and just accepted this. But where the fridge had been turned off and not turned back on, there was water all over the floor, which we had to wipe up. Then we discovered that there was no milk - and we could not log onto the TV - so I had to make a trip down to the reception to request some milk and ask if someone could come up and look at the TV - this was done.
There were four of us staying in the room - there were only two tiny tubes of shower gel in the bathroom to do all four of us - I assumed these would be topped up in the morning when our room was serviced, and our four towels would be changed - BUT NO ROOM SERVICE WAS DONE!! - so we had paid all this money and were expected to use the same two tiny tubes of shower gel and the same wet towels for two days!! And all of the beds were not comfortable at all - very hard!
Then i spoke to our friends who were staying on the floor above us for the same amount of time as us (they booked much later than us) and found out there were 4 of them also in a two bedroom apartment and they paid $957 less than us. When I queried this with both Brooklyn and Dhruv - Host Manager their answer was NOT satisfactory being "it was a busy time and rates vary significantly based on demand". We booked first and were charged $957 more! This is not satisfactory considering the problems i have mentioned above. Dhruv - Host Manager also said 'We look forward to welcoming you back to Nesuto Stadium again in the future" - This is not going to happen!!! - I have stayed at this accommodation several times in the past when it was owned by the previous owners and actually recommended it to all my friends I will definiately NOT be recommending it now .

Firstly I have to commend the staff on how welcoming and friendly they are even though it was very busy at the front desk. They were very accommodating and took time to explain the guest parking access. I had booked two rooms. One hotel room and one apartment. The hotel room was comfortable and spacious. The bed was so comfortable to sleep in. Being able to connect and watch your favourite apps on the TV. The Apartment was very spacious with comfortable beds and a spacious lounge and full kitchen with all the utensils pots and plates you require. They even have a washer and dryer in the bathroom for your convenience. They do also provide dishwashing powder and liquids to do your dishes. This premises is also conveniently situated near to the Woolworths on Quay street...just a short walk away. It is also a 10 minute walk away from Commercial Bay. I would definitely stay here again.

Booked on phone for 3 people to stay 2 nights. On arrival to room there is just 1 bed for all of us. Had to pay extra for a roll away bed at $45 a night….Room had foundation splattered on walls and bathroom door from previous person and sink was growing pink mould.
When booking no offer that breakfast could be included in our original booking so when turning up for breakfast they were surprised we weren’t on the list for breakfast and had to charge this daily when we turned up to eat.
Food was good though.
Room wasn’t serviced all day, until someone came knocking late evening, by that time we just wanted to chill so got toilet paper that we needed and bins emptied. Would have been nice if this was done during the day while we were out like most other hotels do.
Overall average stay, and probably wouldn’t rush to stay here again. Location is good but parking is in a separate building around the corner which is kinda annoying.
Initial staff member we dealt with was a bit hopeless and had to ask lots of questions to get info we needed for parking etc it wasn’t just offered up like it should be.
Staff member on check out was good though and appreciated her help.

Our family enjoyed their stay
We booked direct & it was smooth and easy.
Staff were friendly & so helpful Y&C
We had the 3bedroom apartment and stayed with three children youngest been 13months and it was spacious enough for all the kids. Beds were comfy and the portable cot was delivered and set up by staff also
kitchen was fully equipt all the appliances including the heatpump, washing machine & dryer was in working order
TV in one of the rooms& lounge The main TV was smart TV , which was connected to the WIFI .. no lagging at all -
we also got complementry wifi and it was high speed
There was a cool little table and chair in the lounge area which we utilised for charging phs/ipads. Reading newspaper so handy
The balcony was great to chill on covered well and had table and chairs too
Theirs a loading and unloading park especially for nesuto which was so handy and then you get to park your vehicle about 2min away for the duration of your stay which we were thankful for given we went to the spark arena which was crazy packed with cars and traffic
We head to auckland every year and will definatley be coming back and staying

We stayed over a week in a self-contained 2-bedroom suite with good bedding, spacious living/dining area, clean & bright bathroom. Front desk & device staff were responsive & helpful. Aircond, washer, dryer, dish washer, microwave oven, cook top & oven all worked well.
Some negative points:
- The aircond was in the dining nook, therefore, not efficient. It should be in the centre of the living area.
- Not very good sound insulation: we're on the 6th floor & frequently disrupted by street noise at night. Insulation between rooms was excellent though.

I stayed here for 4 days and left with at least 10 bed bug bites. At first I thought the bites were from outside but each day I woke up with more bites. The hotel staff took 35 min to bring up two towels and on some days our room wasn’t cleaned. Also we called the front desk several times with no answer, and then hotel staff called us to go check out. The hotel presents well but the rooms need deep cleaning and attention especially if no guests have been in there for awhile and the service was ok.

We always appreciate receiving feedback from our guests, as it helps us to monitor areas which need improvement and provides us with encouragement when things are working well. We are horrified to learn from you that you had bites. As a four star plus Qualmark rated property, we pride ourselves in providing a superior level of product. To maintain that product, we do have a pest elimination program in place with a reputable pest control company. Since receiving your feedback, we have stripped the bed of all the linen and the pest control company will be sanitizing the room before any future guests are allocated to this room. Please let me assure you that we take this very seriously and hope that this incident will not make you averse towards staying with us in the future. We do apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope you will allow us to demonstrate the true spirit of Nesuto hospitality when you next decide to stay with us. Just a few little let downs. Repairs need to be done to the plaster work in hallways and room and a good wipe down of the walls and what's up with the layout of the bathrooms??? I'm sure the toilet roll could be placed on the wall beside the toilet not behind you.

Not sure about dry cleaning but the apartments have a washing machine and dryer; iron and ironing board. They also provide washing powder. We
The Arena Carpark is next to the Hotel and is about a 2 mins walk. It costs $30 per night. You will get a ticket from the machine upon entry - take that to Reception when you check in and you can pay then.
Shampoo and soap yes, no toothbrushes though
