Detailed Reviews
I stayed at the YW for a few nights during a work trip and the accommodation was perfect for my needs. Clean room, nice new bed and bathrooms checked regularly.
Kitchen facilities were great too.
The staff seemed to get on with everybody and it was a nice atmosphere. Would stay again.

This place is full of students studying at Auckland University. Book very early to avoid any disappointment.
We booked an ensuite room with table, two chairs and fridge. 5 minutes walk to Sky Tower and Intercity bus stop, 10 minutes walk to upper Queen Street. There are two international food courts on Elliot Street. One on the lower ground floor in JnJ Metro, and the other on the lower ground floor of Atrium. They close at 6PM, so be there early.
The communal kitchen is just behind the reception area. You may lend kitchen utensils from the reception. No deposit required. Return them when you check out.
No bath towel is provided, please bring own. The shower room is very tiny, and the basin is small while I wonder if we were staying in Hobbiton. However, the room is spacious, with plenty of room.
Wifi comes with a rate. That's the only downside of this place. I would still recommend to those on budget when visiting Auckland.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the back alley are quieter. Higher floors would have less noise.

I´ve spent 2 months in this place.
You can choose between single room and double room and even another kind of ammenities like the top floor with exclusive kitchen.
All the staff were really helpul and friendly. You need to pay extra for the internet service which is ussual in Auckland.

The accommodation it's excellent for someone single who wants to stay into a long-term ( there are different fares for long-term,short-term or casual). The size of the room it's quite good (about 2,5m x 3,5m ), however kitchen and bathroom are collective.
