Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.

A budget priced hotel in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, about 5 minute walk from Flinders station. Friendly staff, comfortable beds, aircon, free wifi and a simple breakfast included. Trams around the corner and many bars, cafes and restaurants a short stroll away.

My friend and I spent 4 nights in Ibis Budget Melbourne CBD. Rooms are basic but that is a standard of all Ibis budget hotels. The more important is location. And location is excellent. You need less then 5 min to the shopping mall in Collins street, 10 min to the Main Square,

I was so careless not checking that the hotel does not recognize platinum status. no points. no benefits. it should not be on the accor site. We should have just stayed outside the cbd. not worth the sacrifice. Novotel St Kilda was beautiful.

Dear LightPacker428435, Thank you very much for your time in providing this feedback. We appreciate your loyalty towards Accor hotels. As you have mentioned this is an economical Budget product. Whilst we provide a 10% on accommodation rates for our Accor plus members it is difficult to extend other benefits such as free drinks, slippers, robes etc. We are very glad to hear that you enjoyed your time at Novotel St Kilda , where a 4 start property could extend a full range of benefits for you. Kind Regards Ashan Abeykoon General Manager

A good location, helpful service and modest facilities. However, fit for my purposes on this occasion. I do not know why this report needs to be 200 characters when I feel that i can supply a concise report involving less than 200 characters

I have previously stayed at the Ibis Budget hotel on multiple occasions over the last 9 months. I estimate that I have spent about $800-$1000 staying there. At first they were good but have gradually deteriorated. My latest stay was very disappointing. The staff at the counter

Hi, We didn't have breakfast there. There are plenty of good reasonably priced places around which was our preference. Sorry I can't help further. J
