We stayed 24th-26th feb for the Harry Styles concert. 2bd Room appartment. It was very spacious and the beds were comfortable. The IGA was just under the apartments and the staff were very helpful getting us sorted for the trams ( which the tram stop was located right at the front) . Will definitely stay again next time in Melbourne. Thanks guys

Apartment was clean but old and dated. Service was good however we had lot of issues with the Wi-Fi during our stay, it was not getting connected at first and then kept dropping out so front desk had to come and fix the issue, but it was annoying to call every time to get the issue fixed. Don’t feel it was value for money considering we paid over $250 per night for an average accommodation and non-existent Wi-Fi.

Great location and spacious 2br apartment. Good kitchen, lounge, dining and laundry. Kitchen has full size fridge, dishwasher and it was a comfortable large 2 storey apt for a group of 4. Certainly not luxurious, beds a little firm, but great value for money. Would definitely stay again.

I picked this place due to its proximity to the Freemasons Hospital as it is literally across the street , and because I was walking at night by myself it was great . Before booking I asked if they did hospital rates , which they do but were actually higher than their website ! I told them this and they agreed to match it but gave me a lame excuse for the reason .
Upon our arrival I was mortified at some of the things that were in the apartment , I took photos
but it didn't seem to matter . Also considering we are in a pandemic sadly the apartment wasn't nearly as clean as it should have been . I bought my own disinfectant to wipe everything down . I had explained we were coming for my daughter to have surgery so you would think it would be a high priority to clean .
It took a week to sort out the internet even when I explained I am still trying to conduct a business while there . We also had trouble with the TV and that took a week also to fix .
While the location to the hospital and CBD is fantastic everything else is a little left to be desired . I have approached them with my complaints via the front desk and several emails but have not heard anything back and for the money they charge it should be a high priority . Where they are located they do have a great little IGA , Pizza shop, Fish & Chips ( which are awesome) and a great little coffee shop.
This is my experience and I would never say don't go but be aware of the reviews as there is some truth in them for sure

Completely disgusted in the staff and the accommodation. Locks on the doors were broken and we were told, 'don't worry, your are on the fourth floor, you are fine.' Sheer rudeness from the staff over my concerns. I was told I could leave, it was 11pm and we have been travelling all day, I do not know Melbourne and felt we were being thrown out. Miscommunication was blamed but it felt it was all excuses. Chairs were broken, cracked and pinching. Carpark was locked without notice and we were not able access to our car, no staff were phone or available. Another person held up for over an hour getting her car out and late for work. After many discussions I was told I would be refunded for one night, when I asked for an invoice, I was not able to get one and refused the refund and told only a one night credit was on offer. I was told the manager would phone me, it has been three days and no phone call or refund has been made. I have further emailed them with no response.

We are a family of four and stayed at the Tribeca for 5 nights for the Boxing Day cricket test. We have stayed at the Tribeca twice before and have always been very happy. We were not disappointed this time either with a great apartment, well laid out, nice and clean and nice linen. The fab pool (always a must for us) and gym were also great, especially after a big day out in the burning hot days. Aircon was awesome as well as some days were over 40 degrees. The reception people were very friendly and helped when we couldn’t get the tv to work. The supermarket outside the foyer is perfect for apartment living and the tram is also right outside the door. We normally stay in central Melbourne but it was really nice for a change to stay in Fitzroy near the MCG and also trendy Brunswick while also being in easy walking distance to central city. The price is also really great and I would be very surprised if anyone can find better all round value for money for a family apartment. Reviewers should not be deterred by any of the negative TA comments, some people are just never happy and will always find something to complain about and then love seeing their whining in print. We will definitely be back.

Booked this apartment based on the photos on the website and of the location where my daughter was having surgery. Some apartments have permanent residents and some like the one we booked for the night was privately owned and used for rental. The reception is separate to the building but not far away. From the moment we walked into the room it was obvious that this was nothing like what was presented in the advertising phots. The apartment is in need of carpets, paint, new fridge, ( freezer didn’t work), and many other things l could list. It has safety, electrical and cleanliness issues. Please see attached photos.
No internet and no T.V. After complaints were made to the receptionist, people came to try and clean the room. A repair man who was really a painter and said he had no idea on how to fix the T.V or internet was really lovely and tried very hard to help. We were eventually offered another apartment, not much better but it had a T.V and freezer, still no internet.
False advertising and the owner of the apartments has clearly never stayed the night there, much less tried to cook a meal

I have been staying at Tribeca when in Melbourne for years and this visit left a lot to be desired. The complex is great as it included and IGAAnd bottlo, pizza restaurant, fish and chips, wine bar/restaurant and cafe which does a great breakfast. This time we were given room K306 which on initial examination looked fine until I needed to turn on the aircon. The aircon had been cleaned inside or out for months. The next issue was the bathroom. The shower hadn’t been cleaned property, probably for as long as no one had cleaned the aircon. To clean the shower properly would only have taken a cloth and shower cleaner in parts and a scrubbing brush in other areas. I wipes of some of the grime in the shower with a face washer so was just shear laziness on the part of the house keepers. The was also obvious mould on the ceiling that had been painted over in hopes of disguising the issue. In the lounge minimal dusting had been done and no one had removed the cushions on the couch and vacuumed under them in quite a while. Couch hadn’t been moved and vacuumed under in ages either.
When mentioned to reception staff they could not have cared less about the issue I raised. My family and I will find somewhere else to stay when we come to Melbourne for our own health and safety.

With reception closing at 5:30pm, it was necessary to arrange for a late check in. Not being able to check into a room after 5:30 is very limiting especially given that check out is at 10am and earliest check in is at 2pm. Late check in should be after 10pm typically (8pm at the very earliest) so that anyone travelling to a room for work can check in at the end of business. The worst part was needing to make a full cash payment for the entire stay and not being able to make a credit card payment over the phone or via the internet. I would not book with Tribeca again purely for this. If i had been travelling for work, this would have been a complete deal breaker for me.
The room itself felt very tired and worn out. The carpet was wrinkled and damaged in a few places. The PVC covered couch was uncomfortable and not pleasant to sit on. Beds were generally comfortable, but only provided with a very thin blanket and were on the verge of being too cold at night.
The kitchen cupboard smelt of old food and was very unpleasant, the bathroom smelt badly of stale urine, and the toilet brush still had brown water in the bottom. The shower had insufficient screens, and flooded the bathroom every time you tried to shower.
Kitchen facilities were okay, with everything i needed to make a basic meal. The rooms themselves were a good size and the flexibility to have either a king or two singles in a room was what attracted me to the space. Location near the MCG was also very good.
I have stayed in a number of serviced apartments, and this is definitely on the lower end of the scale for quality. I would definitely think twice before coming back despite the great location.

1. Our room really stank and had several areas of mould on the lower walls and carpet. Either the sliding door out to the balcony had been left open in the rain (hopefully) or someone had urinated throughout the rooms. Amazingly we were told at check in that we had been upgraded!
2. Broken TV reported early on day 1, again on day 2 and again on day 3. Never fixed.
3. 3 adults in a 2 bedroom apertment andwere provided with 2 keys. The next moring we discovered that one didn't work. My wife was stranded outside without her phone and had to ask a stranger to call me so I could come down and let her in. When we reported this there were more aplogies (like the TV) but no other replacement key was available. 3 adults with several different itineries sharing one key.
Hopeless

No you have to pay
Not sure about that but there was a normal ph in the living area then another phone, which was not a normal ph just inside the door. you get a swipe tag to get in the building, when you get in the lift you swipe your floor. If you swipe the wrong floor you can't get out of the lift.
Agree with Brian re convenient and good food in complex on ground floor. Get the phone numbers for Tribeca Pizza and Kiwi Fish and Chips and phone in an order once your bus/taxi gets to the CBD. I would pick up a snack for your son at airport to keep him going.
Best to check with the reception before but I am sure they have an after hours Manager because that's who I contacted as reception was unattended when I arrived.
