Booked online. Not once did it mention that there was a night club on the premises. Could hear the base beat all Friday and Saturday night until 2 in the morning. A bit of a walk from the city. Room was clean and tidy. Reception friendly. Wheelchair access through a public car park. . Cleaners threw away a brown bag that had my mum's brand new lambs wool slippers just purchased in it. Complained but the said sorry a mistake. Not bad. Just average.

Good location, staff are really friendly and while the place is a little old it has everything you’d need.

Upon check-in they tell you they have a nightclub on Saturday nights and the noise affects all rooms. I found this a bit sneaky as you don’t get told about this when you book so you turn up with all your luggage and have no other option but to check in anyway. My AirPods were a godsend.

Bar and restaurant are not wheelchair-friendly

The nightclub is loud on Friday and Saturday nights. On level six you could name every song and the bass buzzed the whole building. They don;t tell you this until you are at the desk checking in. They should email you this at the time of booking to give you the opportunity to change your mind.
The location is good and the staff are friendly. Parking is avaiable at an extra cost.

We visited this hotel at the start of January the room was average, when we checked out they asked if we used the mini bar which we did not. A few days later my credit card had been charged I messaged them and they would not refund me for the peanuts we had apparently eaten! It is not much money but it is the principle we did not eat them and am really unhappy we’ve been charged. We are currently traveling and every penny counts!! If you use this hotel please check the mini bar else you’ll get extra charged!!

This is a hotel with a nightclub downstairs. Very loud doof doof music and drunk crowd until 4am. You won't get any sleep at this hotel and you won't get any proper warning about it. They clearly don't care about hotel patrons. It's all about making as much money as possible with a hotel and club in the one location. Terrible!

We stayed 3 nights Friday to Monday. Shower was mouldy, bed sheets were holey, tea/coffee station was covered in dust and shards of glass. We were also woken up at 1:15am on a Sunday morning by water leaking into the bathroom from the ceiling above. Not a pleasant stay and would not stay again. Reception staff were good.

Extremely noisy disco club under hotel, our windows were shaking till 4:00am!! There is nothing in description that you should be prepared for loudness discomfort. I have never been in so bad hotel. Old furniture, lamp and hair dryer were broken, very poor access to wifi. Never again. View from our room is on the picture

Had seven nights in Melbourne. First three in Mercure Welcome. Not impressed. Moved to Citiclub and it’s great! Clean, much larger with a tub. Great bed and pillows. Plenty of living space and a great bathroom. Easy walk to everything and lovely staff. Best thing is hardly any visible people so easy to move around get lifts etc.

I booked this hotel worried about the noise factor of the nightclub, but the location and price won. I travelled with my sister and booked a deluxe twin with breakfast. The staff were fantastic always very helpful and always happy. We were on the sixth floor and the noise was not too bad, we slept well. The bed very comfortable. We loved the cafe where breakfast was served. Called the Dikstein on the corner of Little Collins and Bank Place. The rooms were clean and towels changed daily.

There is a nightclub underneath which is incredibly loud (open till 3am friday & Saturday). You’ll do yourself a favour finding somewhere else if you want a quiet night. I do have to admit the room is very nice tho. The tv is great & bathroom is good too, just the noise which is the main issue. Location is good, just a shame on the noise levels.

Beware of this hotel. There was s a night club with very very loud music all night until 7am. Hope you have earplugs. It is terrible and the staff think it is funny when you complain as it is hidden on their website that they don’t give refunds.

Trouble is we booked over the phone and "someone" forgot to tell us, and if you were there on the week end and not at the nightclub then maybe you left your hearing aids at home, seriously 2 floors above doof doof music, you can't not hear it and as I said the bed was moving (and no funny remarks cause there was nothing going on except doof doof two floors down)
