The Sebel Melbourne Flinders Lane celebrated its 100th anniversary in May 2023. The refurbishment design philosophy drew inspiration from the early "fashion house" days with a view of creating an expression of sophisticated elegance, through an individual design concept that would remain unique to The Sebel Melbourne Flinders Lane. The result has turned this "all suite" apartment building into a market leading boutique hotel. Presented is a contemporary range of sophisticated one bedroom suites that infuse modern design philosophies with the architectural and historical heritage of the building. Archival Melbourne scenes are displayed in the black and white artwork that adorn the corridors, evolving into a celebration of Melbourne's modern icons throughout the suites. The Courtyard which is a European inspired inner city escape that provides guests with an intimate courtyard garden to share a drink with friends or to simply relax and escape the hustle and bustle of the city. While the days of fashion are well in the past at 321 Flinders Lane, those looking for a fashion experience will not be disappointed with The Sebel Melbourne's Flinders Lane location. Ideally located between Elizabeth and Queen Street, it is in close proximity to Melbourne's shopping, and entertainment district with the added benefit of having Melbourne's famous cafe culture and the iconic Flinders Street Station right around the corner.

We have stayed at this property several times before and have enjoyed it each time.

We had a 1 bedroom superior apartment on the top floor (10th) which had a separate lounge/kitchen area. The apartment is quite spacious and modern and can sleep 4 persons. There is also a tv in the master bedroom and in the lounge area.

Kitchen is compact with a 2 electric hot plates and a microwave. Fridge is not family size but adequate. You could quite easily prepare some simple meals if not wanting to dine out.Although there are many reasonable priced eateries in the area.

Location is excellent and only one block from Flinders Street Station with lots of eateries and restaurants all in close proximity. Due to coviod many places were still closed despite the restrictions being somewhat lifted.

The hotel does lack facilities like restaurant, pool etc but we easily spend our time in the surrounding area.Trams are at your doorstep so easy to get around. Within the city limits trams are free.

Only small criticism is even with the curtains opened the room is a little dark. Not sure if its because of the dark carpets and dark furnishings however only a minor issue.

No doubt we will be back.

Suprisingly at short notice we were able to at short notice get a nights stay at this fantastic property on boxing day to catch up with family for dinner.

We stayed in the one bedroom standard king room.

Location in Flinders Lane is very central and in a quiet area. Only a block away from Flinders Street Station. Lots of eateries close by but many were closed at this time of the year.

There is a kitchen so self catering is an option.

Two tv's wth one in the bedroom and one in the lounge area.

Valet parking costs $20 per 24 hour period.

Had several stays here now and enjoy it each time.

We stayed here for three nights, and quite liked the hotel. The suite / apartment was spacious and comfortable; with an equipped kitchen and dining area, pleasant lounge with desk, and a bedroom / bathroom.

However, its worth noting that this accommodation has no eating facilities; no restaurant or bar, and no room service. Parking is available on premises; and there are plentiful cafes and restaurants withing walking distance.

What was a bit disappointing was that the hotel website indicates breakfast is available, and as a Diamond Accor member, I expected a bit more in terms of the usual Diamond status benefits. There were absolutely none, in this case.

Checking in and out was quick and efficient, although at both times they didn't seem to know, or check if any 'outstanding amounts' were paid up or not .. (they were)

Location wise, this is in the city, with all the CBD attractions within walking distance

Dear MJD013, Thank you for letting us know about your recent stay at the The Sebel Melbourne Flinders Lane. It is always a pleasure to receive constructive feedback from our loyalty members. I will be sure to share your comments with our team. Please note that we do not advertise that we have a Restaurant or Bar and we are now aware that the website still incorrectly mentions room service breakfast. That item will be removed as soon as possible and we apologise for any inconvenience. As you mentioned, there are plentiful cafes and restaurant nearby. We do also have a discount agreement for our guests with one of those cafes. We are glad that you enjoyed your overall stay with us and hope to welcome you back again soon. Kind Regards, Ashley Gorrell General Manager

Set in a great location handy to Flinders st station, Fed square, trams, Chinatown and supermarkets. We loved our stay and can’t wait to go back again.

We stayed in a 1brm superior room. Ample space to not feel crowded in the slightest.

Staff couldn’t have been more friendly or accommodating of any requests we had (replenish of tissues, toilet paper and dishwasher powder)

We had a short stay in a one-bedroom king deluxe room which was a large 95 sq metres and our room was located on the 7th floor with courtyard views.

This is one of my favourite properties in the Melbourne CBD.

Location is great and a very short walk to Flinders Street Station. There are several restaurants in the street as well as a convenience store.

Room is spotless, and very roomy with two tvs, a large bathroom with a full bath, a study type area and a lounge. Kitchen is adequate to self-cater however the fridge is not very large, although there is also a wine fridge in the next room.

It's such a great place to explore Melbourne.

I stayed at the Sebel for 4 nights at the end of Febuary for a conference.I had a

I arrived rather tired after a late flight to a
restful room with huge comfy bed, spacious bathroom with abundant hot water in the shower, hanging space, a living space with desk and enough power points and kitchenette with dining table, cupboards, hotplate and fridge. In fact I ate out because Flinders Lane is the epi centre of lane-way cafes, great coffee right next door, a supermarket close by, and its also not too far from Chinatown for THE DRAGON hot pot, Greek food, Italian food etc.The fabulous art gallery is a short distance and oh the shoes! There are multiple tram lines...theone tricky thing could have been that arriving after midnight i was told there was a bell to the left of the main door. There is but it is not functioning. If i had not not had my phone, or for instance it had run out of charge, I would not have been able to call reception! The late entry is around the corner to the right.Info about this beforehand might have saved a moments anxiety.

Dear valued guest, Thank you for your feedback and your wonderful description of Melbourne. When checking in, guests are usually told to use the door to the left after hours; it is also in the arrival information sheet we give all guests. If you were checking in after hours then yes, you need to push the buzzer at the front door. That then pages the staff member on duty; I apologise if that did not work on this occasion. It is great to see that your stay was enjoyable overall and we hope to see you again soon.......hopefully oncethe virus has cleared!!! Kind Regards, Ashley Gorrell General Manager

Location is easy walking access to most things in Melbourne including MCG and Marvel stadium. The accommodation is 5 star with large suites and beds. Full kitchen makes self catering a breeze when you don't want to explore the many eateries.

We have just had a week at the Sebel Flinders Lane, what a great place to stay. We had a one bedroom apartment on the fourth floor overlooking Flinders Lane.
The apartment was very comfortable and well maintained and clean. Good kitchen facilities, free wifi worked well as did everything else. The apartment was always a lovely temperature, nice to come home to after busy days in the cold of winter. The thing we loved the most was the position just around the corner from Flinders Street Station, walk out the front door and you are right in the middle of town , beautiful.
Checking in and out was a breeze.
When you come into the reception area from the cold outside there is a small lounge area with a gas flame fire that warms that area superbly, that is soo welcoming.
Look forward to our next stay there, highly recommend this place.

The sebel is very well located right in the middle of Melbourne CBD... close to Flinders st station and Elizabeth Street,
The apartment is very cosy and nicely furnished.. Although it looks dark on entry given the colour of the walls and flooring, it is tastefully decorated.
The internal heating made our stay very comfortable.
All cutleries and toiletries provided are more than adequate.
Staff are very friendly and helpful

This was a our second visit to The Sebel Flinders Lane and once again it didn’t disappoint. It’s location is just perfect, being a short walk to Bourke St Mall, Hosier Lane, the National Gallery of Victoria, Southgate, and the MCG. Flinders St Station is also just minutes away. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with the convenience of a kitchenette. For somewhere in the heart of the city it’s also fabulously quiet. It’s not a flashy five star but I would definitely visit again and recommend to friends.

Dear Alfred, In 2018, there were a small number of rooms that you could book through the Accor Hotels website. As of 2019, we removed those and became a 100% Accor Vacation Club property. This means, the only way to stay with us is to be an AVC member. As previously mentioned, we are an extremely popular hotel with our members. We can certainly help you out with suggestions for other Accor Hotels that you may wish to stay at. Kind Regards, Ashley Gorrell General Manager The Sebel Melbourne Flinders Lane

I'm pretty sure its valet parking at a cost of $35.00 a day. BUT in saying that I'm sure its on their web page. I didn't have a car while in Melbourne, you don't need one, public transport is far better then Sydney.
