Great location and great sized room with all the supplies you need. The 24/7 reception desk is great. We had a room on the 23rd floor with a nice view of the city. The room is big, the bed is comfy, and the kitchen has everything you need including fridge, toaster, microwave, etc. The bathroom is also a great size with lots of bench space and a spacious shower with lots of hot water. The heating/air conditioning is also excellent!

Brand new and bloody fantastic!! I was the 1st guest in my studio on level 12. Beautiful decor grays, whites and charcoal. Best water pressure in shower of any hotel I've stayed in as well as big pump bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. Can't forget to mention the thck white bath sheets as well.
The bed, again, was superior, including the quality pillows, sheets and doona. I could have stayed in bed all day except there was so much to see and do in the city and beyond.
The staff were incredible, from the front desk who welcomed me home each day and asked where I went, to Andrew the Operations Mgr who came up and showed me how to use a couple of things.
All this I got for $112 per night which they price matched from another website .
I look forward to staying here again.

Oh did I mention it is literally across the street from Melbourne Central Station - a shopping and entertainment hub as well as a train station.

My family of 5 plus our fur baby stayed for 2 weeks. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
We really appreciated the thoughtfulness of many of the hotel’s design elements - the pet floor including pet bed and blanket, pool towels readily available, and comfortable shared zones (movie room, gym, work lounge). The hotel is clean (a shout out to the hard working weekday cleaner whose name I didn’t learn I’m sorry).
The main downsides are - the location is very central but not the nicest block in the cbd, there is a bit of street noise and the staff, while lovely, appear to be still learning aspects of hotel management.

We stayed at the apartment for a week and on the 2nd night, all through the night, we heard a loud creaking/banging noise coming from the air conditioning. It was right next to our heads in our bedroom and caused us to not be able to sleep all night, from 12am - to 8am. We could not come down and get it sorted as they only have a security guard overnight till 5am, then the first actual employee who could maybe help us move room started their shift at 8. This was also frustrating as we called the helpline number (which is for overnight) and they said the employee starts at 7. We waited till 7:30 and no one turned up so we rang again and that’s when we found out they started at 8, which was even more frustrating. We then decided to go up to the room (at 7:30am) and the noise had stopped finally and got about 3 hours sleep (the first of the night) before coming back down to reception and speaking to the manager. He explained how it’s to do with the drainage system behind the aircon and it always happens in rooms about 10/15 times a year due to the wind or weather conditions as the building is from the 1990s. He then said he would refund us for the night and that the noise shouldn’t happened again and we were willing to accept this. Well, he was right that the noise didn’t happen again (I heard it briefly sometimes in the morning which I was concerned about) but the refund which he said we would get for the night (around $200 AUD) which was meant to reach are account the following Wednesday never arrived! It’s now been 3 weeks since our stay and still no sign from it. It is our fault for not getting a photo or a copy in writing or his name I guess, however after the nightmare of a night we had which essentially caused us to waste 1 day of our 7-day Melbourne trip, we did expect him to have some decency and actually put the refund through. Again, we were clearly wrong! Would highly not recommend staying at this place after what we went through.

We had such a lovely stay at Scape Living - we booked three rooms but a room would comfortably fit a couple.

The room is modern and cosy, bed comfortable, bathroom also modern and clean.

The view of the city is beautiful is from the room.

The staff are also so professional and lovely, every time we would leave the hotel or come back, we were always greeted with a hello any request was no problem at all.

We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay at the apartment where we booked a two bedroom apartment (inlcudes a studio and one bedroom). The best part was the free coffees, softdrinks and easter eggs - the beautiful pool and gym as part of the facilities. i would definitely recommend a stay - but i'd like to let people know that we were not forewarned about payment of a $400 bond fee. Five weeks later we are still waiting for the monies to be returned. hoping we will get it back soon.

First time guest at this hotel, obviously the property is very focused on the student market and it is reflected in the basic room product. For a leisure focused stay it’s a good value option in a handy location.

The initial room allocated had an extremely unpleasant smell in it and the TV didn’t work at all. After a few personal visits to the front office team they moved me and the replacement room was fine.

I do have to compliment the front desk team and appreciate their efforts (it was a very busy Saturday night in MEL).

I did check out the pool area and thought this was a real bonus. Heated pool and nice seating around it.

Location wise, very central and a plethora of nearby shops and supermarkets - with 200 metres. Also on the free city tram line too.

Overall a nice pleasant stay (once room relocated) and again great customer service by the front desk staff.

When I’m next in MEL on a leisure trip happily stay here again.

Good enough stay, stayed for four weeks and the location was good, size of the room was ideal for one person. Small kitchen area had everything that you would need so was good to be able to cook some meals.

Pool area was nice and the gym was quite good, cardio machines and a good range of free weights and a cable machine.

Would stay again if in the area, good access to trams and Melbourne central station

Lucky enough to book 3 nights here and would definitely recommend.

1. Brilliant location with easy and quick access to train/tram stops, food and shopping facilities.
2. Customer service was exceptional. Across our stay we saw multiple staff and each were consistently helpful, friendly and attentive.
3. Clean, affordable and spacious rooms. Studio was perfect size for a couple’s weekend away.
4. Pool and gym facilities were great and even utilised in winter with a tepid temperature.
5. Great price for what you get and the exceptional location in Melbourne.

Will be back!
Ps. Appreciated staff helping us out at 3am when there was a minor maintenance issue.
