The location of Quest NewQuay is perfect with a range of restaurants and eateries to suit all budgets. Check in was an easy and we were offered an early check in. The staff are friendly and go above and beyond. The room is prepared to a very high standard and has everything you need including a washing machine and dryer. The 2 bedroom apartment was very spacious and very quiet. The queen beds in both rooms were extremely comfortable. Reception is 24hrs and some is always there to assist you. I would not hesitate to book the Ques tNewQuay for your next vacation or business trip.

Last minute booking at 9:30pm on a Sunday night when I arrived at my appartments and found out the appartments I originally booked with went bankrupt 2 days before my arrival in Melbourne. Quest NewQuay could not do enough for me and the location is ideal, food supermarkets and general shopping all within a 5 minute walk. Will make it my new home base when in Melbourne.

We usually stay in an Airbnb when in Melbourne but it was booked out for this trip. As we love the Docklands area and are familiar with it we looked for something close by and found Quest New Quay. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. The apartment was quite spacious. Both bedrooms had a king size bed and there was plenty of room to store luggage. The couch was comfy enough and the dining table was sufficient for the 4 of us. The apartment was very clean, modern and the heating worked well (a must for a cold Melbourne winter). We also noticed that although the hotel was fully booked, we didn’t hear any other guests which meant no disturbances. We didn’t utilise the kitchen, although it appeared well stocked with cooking utensils, pans, cutlery and glassware. The washing machine & dryer were hidden in a cupboard in the kitchen. We didn’t use the machines but they looked relatively new. We didn’t have much interaction with staff although when we did, they were very friendly and helpful. Woolworths is a couple of minutes walk and there is a small IGA across the road. There is a tram stop on the way to Woolies. We used this stop when catching the 86 or 35 tram. There is also another stop that is approx 5 minutes walk (just before Marvel Stadium) where we could also catch the 70 or 75. These stops are within the free tram zone and trams run very frequently. Southern Cross Station is about 10 minutes walk, cutting through Marvel Stadium, or the 86 tram stops outside. We caught the Skybus from the airport to Southern Cross and then an 86 tram to the hotel (and vice versa on the way home). This was an affordable airport transfer service for us and the cost of the return trip was less than an Uber one way. There are a handful of nearby restaurants as well as a cinema. There are outlet shops at Southern Cross and a DFO is only a short tram ride away. The MCG is also easily accessed by tram. We love the New Quay side of Docklands as it is right on the CBD doorstep yet much quieter and feels very safe walking around at night. As much as we love where we usually stay, we are glad it was booked out this time to allow us to discover this little gem. We would love to return in the near future and would recommend to our family and friends.

The cleaning service was unsatisfactory. No clean towels were provided on the second day of my stay, and the dirty towels were left in the room despite me placing them on the floor for removal. Additionally, the housekeeping staff did not clean the floor, table, or benchtop after the second day. The downlight in the master bedroom’s bathroom was inconsistent, sometimes working and sometimes not. Although I contacted reception, and their attitude was acceptable, the issue was never resolved.

We paid good money for what we thought would be a 4.5 star hotel, unfortunately we were greeted with substandard service and very bad quality. I booked a one bedroom apartment for my Sister & I because it had a king bed and a sofa bed. I made a point of requesting the sofa bed to be made up at the time of my booking. When we pulled out the sofa bed, we were shocked to see what looked like blood and mould stains on the mattress (and no bedding). I called down to reception who were not apologetic at all and told me that they couldn’t do anything about it because I didn’t give 24 hours notice (even though I gave weeks notice when I first booked) and that it would cost $55 for bedding. There was no apology or care for our situation and were told there was nothing they could do. They brought sheets up and my sister had to sleep on the couch. We also had issues with check in and didn’t see an employee smile the whole time we were there. Very disappointed and would give a 0/10 if I could. Very disappointed with the customer service and I’ll be looking into reporting to the correct authorities on the hygiene. My complaints have not been replied to or resolved still.

I have just returned from another stay at Quest New Quay. I travel to Melbourne quite often and never stay anywhere else.
The staff are amazing and will help out in whatever your needs.
Rooms are spotless and the location is less than 50 metres to a free city tram.
Fantastic for families with a shopping centre across the road that you can use to stock up on food.
Stacey the GM there is incredible and the front of house staff make you feel very welcome. Especially McKenzie who was very helpful in our last trip.
The staff are amazing and will help out in whatever your needs.

Very good place, clean and nice location, lots of faculties to use and supermarkets and shops are very close by. The staff are very nice, and we were luckily able to upgrade from studio apartment to one bed room free of charge when we arrived. We also had no complaints about noise at night, it was very quiet. Wish there were toothbrushes and toothpaste available to use but IGA is located right across the place if needed to buy.

An excellent serviced apartment that met all requirements of my family. Great location in Docklands, with proximity to shopping at The District which is just a 5 minute walk. D10 tram station is at a 3 minute walking distance from where you can catch the City Circle Tram hop-on hop-off free ride to explore the city. Just 3 tram stops away, is another shopping centre, the DFO and lots of restaurants along the Yarra river.
The apartment itself has a well equipped kitchen, cozy bedroom and very convienient living room. The apartment is located in a quiet corner at the Rakaia way and there are no loud noises around to disturb sleep.
Staff is extremely polite and friendly.
I know for sure that I will book this place every time I am in Melbourne and higly recommend it to everyone looking for a value for money deal while staying in Melbourne.

The Quest NewQuay, I have had No problems , with staff, or cleaniness with the rooms, would recommend coming back No problems with parking or finding the Quest, and to deal with heavy itrafficc areas, due to building & inrasturcture in the area, close to restuarants and dinning area's also close trams , to be able to travel around Melbourne, close to work and easy to find when travelling back and forth to work. Close to beakfast dining facilities and staff are always pleasant and easy to help where needed.

The quest Newquay was the perfect place to stay for our concert weekend trip! The location is brilliant for anything central and easy to walk to locations (especially Marvel Stadium), with the District precinct a few mins walk and lots of eateries! The room was clean and spacious and very comfortable with everything we needed. The airconditioning was very efficient and the room was quiet and had awesome views. The 24 hour reception is perfect and the staff were friendly and super helpful especially with our very late arrival and their providing a later checkout to allow us to stay to wait for our taxi which they booked for us on our departure.
