Detailed Reviews
There are some positives to this hostel such as the fact that you have privacy curtains which is honestly the only reason I stayed this long, why more hostels don't install this simple but deal breaking detail I don't know. The rooftop is a good thing to have in summer months and it is a fairly sociable hostel.
On the downside the hostel is constantly cold due to their insistence on blasting air con on full all year round even in the peak of winter. It makes for an uncomfortable experience and as guests are forbidden from touching the air con dials with signs saying to speak to reception (who will momentarily change it for perhaps 30 mins before that cold gust of air comes back on).
It is good to have separate bathrooms not just one private one for the room, or a communal set of showers like others, here you have a bunch of separate shower rooms with their own door. Unfortunately they often smell foul due to the drains.
I didn't experience much of the free breakfast as the window is very early and doesn't work for those who work late. All in all a fairly average experience that could be easily made better with a bit of common sense.

Stayed here twice, first in a 4 bed dorm. The room was very well laid out with lots of space between the beds and privacy curtains. Second time in a private 2 bed room which was also very good and came with a TV. They also have a great free breakfast.
Wasn't happy with the cleanliness. In many places in the hostel it doesn't look like they hoover that often. In the 2 bed room it didn't look like it had been cleaned properly from the previous guests. There were stains on the table top and stains on the bedsheets.
There is usually a queue for the bathrooms and they can be a bit disgusting, although you do see them being cleaned.

The hostel is average. It's in a good location, the beds are comfy, free breakfast is handy, wifi is good. It could do with a lick of paint and a deep clean, the facilities are basic- hooks/shelves in the rooms would be handy. The noise levels weren't awful but take ear plugs. Showers were warm, staff were helpful and friendly. It's a really big hostel so facilities (bathrooms and kitchen) are very well used and unforunately some people aren't very respectful of shared places (i.e. keeping things clean).

Europa has been a brilliant hostel to stay in! The beds are very comfy and come with a privacy screen that makes you feel a lot more comfortable in the rooms. All bathrooms, kitchen and common areas are kept very clean and you can see that staff care a lot about the upkeep!
Would definitely recommend staying here, good location and good facilities. Happy travels!

Fairly average hostel, with good front door security and excellent free breakfast. Was ideal for a post midnight check in due to flight arrival time.
However the rooms/halls we're very poorly lit and although they rave about having privacy curtains, the beds are end to end so it's hardly privacy when you're top and tailing with the strangers next to you.
Not ideal if you want to make friends, but quiet if all you need is a bed for the night.

Stinky and unclean. The dorm rooms have no windows that open so even in a 6 person dorm the smell stagnates. The bathrooms seemed to be constantly being cleaned but always were dirty with hair and muck in the corners and on the walls. The kitchen was in the basement and years of grease had built up. The free breakfast was okay but most residents desperately needed instructions on how to make pancakes at the self serve station.

I found the place on booking. Com and they had plenty of rooms available online but I wanted to double check if they have a weekly or monthly discount, on the phone the lady said they do have offers if you stay longer term but not to book online it’s better to come in and you can pay at reception and get the deal. I got a taxi with all my things and when I arrived the person at reception said they have no rooms available, i said I called an hour ago and told her what the lady said, she was really dismissive and she said no that lady was wrong they are fully booked. I checked booking.com again and there were still lots of rooms available to book so I showed her and she said it’s wrong and these rooms are being renovated and then left the reception area. It was all a waste of time and annoying considering I phoned up first

Nice double room.
Perfunctory breakfast skipped, or try to make pancakes amongst a milling crowd. One kettle upstairs - not working. None downstairs in breakfast room. Not much care shown about it. Oh? Worst - bathroom-toilets shower cubicles are unisex. Stink of male pee, all over the floor of course, overwhelming, by Sunday morning. Decided didnt need to shower after all and went to my prebooked much nicer and cheaper hotel. Far too crowded. No. Not again.

Gross! Disgusting!! Fridge is never cleaned, moldy cheese, out of data meat falling out of its packet, unhygienic! There's no space to store your food what so ever. It might be normal for some people to live in such dirty environments but this is disgusting and they were obviously not brought up the right way. Bathrooms and toilets are also never cleaned. I was booked in to stay four night but left after one. Breakfast is terrible, finishes early at 9:30 and they do not provided a lot to eat (run out of bread, and some cereal). Kitchen is located in a weird place, upon entrance (same room as reception). Corridors are dark (probably to hide the fact it's so dirty). Stay in any other hostel but this one.
No one cleans there dishes. This place needs to be shut down or some dramatic changes need to be put into place.

The place is brand new, beds are comfortable and there are 2 usb plugs each bed, plus a light and double pillows.
Plenty of things to improve, but all small details due to the place being new:
. no shelving in bathrooms
. nowhere to hang towel in bathroom
. beds could use a privacy curtain
But all in all good, location very good and nice place to stay at.
