Great location close to the docks and Salamanca Place in Hobart. Quiet, spacious and very comfortable unit that included two bathrooms and a laundry. The very functional kitchen included a coffee machine and a teapot as well as oven, toaster, and dish washer. Really couldn't think of anything that would have made our stay more comfortable or easier.

Great apartment that we shared with another couple for 3 nights while on holidays. Had 2 bedrooms a lounge, dining, kitchen and laundry with two bathrooms everything you need for a self contained unit. Good location easy stroll to shops and harbour. Staff friendly. Would be a great idea to consider having swipe cards into room and the two extra doors through the entrance and walkway from car park to make it easier the key was frustrating to use. Alleyway at rear of apartment backed onto a restaurant and it got a bit noisy at night after they closed with them throwing rubbish into the bin and general clean up. But a super apartment thank you

what a great location - we stayed at the Gibson Mill apartments which are across from the wharf - so many eateries and things to do all within walking distance. The apartment was well presented, very clean and spacious. Comfortable corner lounge was a great touch. On site parking, at an additional cost, was good, quite tight spaces to park a SUV but all manageable. The one issue was that our bedroom had a either a air conditioning or plant room noise which was quite loud and until you were able to fall asleep quite annoying

Chose this based on location. What they don't tell you is some of their apartments are 10min walk away, still at decent location in city, but here's the catch: the parking available is at their main office and there was very limited parking at the actual apartment - we had bags to unload and thankfully found a 5min parking spot outside the apartment. In short, don't stay here if you want to have easy access to your parked car. We tried asking closer to checkout whether we could borrow a parking space (which I saw a few in the actual apartment block on Morrisons) but was told all the parking was full and we couldn't even borrow it for an hour in the morning to load up the car.

There was nobody to greet us at check in due to us arriving around noon on a Sunday. Had to follow fairly convoluted instructions on how to open a letter dropbox near the main office to find keys and map with directions to the apartment.

Apartment was nice enough as a refurbished warehouse space. Windows don't open and there's very little natural light. We stayed 4 nights and there was no evidence of room being serviced or cleaned prior to checkout - our one rubbish bin bag had to last the whole stay.

I stayed with my family at IXL apartments for 3 nights and got no sleep. The bedroom we were in had one wall that was a floor to ceiling window onto a shared walkway between the apartments. This window had venetian blinds, but they didn't effectively block the fluro light directly outside the window, and we could never open the blinds due to people walking past our bedroom. This also meant I was woken up anytime someone walked by talking, or rolled their suitcase. The other side of the apartment faced a courtyard which is shared by local businesses, all night we could hear the restaurant emptying bins and dropping trays. in addition a large ship was docked nearby, so there was an intermittent droning sound day and night. I travel extensively both for work and leisure and i've never seen such poor building quality and lack of soundproofing, privacy or effective drapes/curtains. I will never use this service again.

We stayed at the IXL apartments. We booked a 2br,2 bath although it actually had 3 bedrooms. Very spacious and well appointed.
The staff were very helpful, parking and check-in and out were easy and the location was fantastic.
The apartments are located at the end of the waterfront area just by Mures and are in the old IXL jam factory.

Step out to Evans Street in the evening for Hog's Breath, brewery bar or wine tasting. Step out to Hunter Street for the waterfront and many eateries, Salamanca markets on Saturdays, hop on hop off bus, ferries to Mona or a short walk to the shopping precinct or up to Battery Point.

The apartment was comfortable, had everything we needed, both bathrooms were good with a large deep bath in the main and great hot water pressure. There were plenty of towels and good supply of l'Occitane toiletries. In addition to the usual tea and coffee, basics such as salt, pepper, glad wrap etc were provided. Plenty of storage room and a large living space.

There's a bbq and outdoor setting on the verandah which would be nice in the warmer months.

We stayed 4 nights while travelling around Tasmania.
Sullivan’s Cove apartments have several sites around Hobart.
We selected a one bedroom apartment in the IXL building. It is not the cheapest place to stay but considering the location and very modern spacious apartment is well worth the price.
Parking is available on site for and extra $10 per day.
The apartment is close to the waterfront and cruise terminal and just a 5 minute walk to Salamanca Place and the Saturday markets.
We had a few teething problems on check in but these were sorted quickly. The latest technology is used for heating, lowering blinds and lighting.
The reception and service was excellent.
The only minor gripe is the apartments all face to the south. The view is great but you get no sun at all.
Having a bbq on the large balcony is a real plus .
We would stay here again for sure.

The Sullivans Cove was in a convenient location to be able to walk to the city centre, restaurants and markets. The ammenities were perfect for our needs offering 2 bedrooms each with their own bathroom. The balcony was spacious. The floorpan was well considered and it was bright and airy. We loved the location, space and freshness of the apartment and highly recommend it.

We stayed in the IXL loft apartments, absolutely great place to stay, very spacious with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and a BBQ on the balcony, very clean and a great view from the 4 th floor. We were within walking distance of the wharf, Salamanca Place and must do Saturday market. Undercover parking was $10 a day but worth it as we mostly walked everywhere and the car was safe and secure. Very highly recommend!

Easy access (via Sky Bus) from airport to Hotel.
Excellent dining and access to tourist sites/ferry all within walking distance.
Sullivan Cove apartments location meant we did not need to hire a car to enjoy the key sites on the Hobart waterfront.
