Detailed Reviews
Visited in the high Covid times, so understandably full services were not expected
When visiting, always pay the few dollars extra for the renovated rooms and you will be greeted with cool air conditioning, modern appliances and comfortable furniture
There is however, a big let down with these premises, and that is the Wifi throughout the premises. It's pathetic. You are only allocated 1gb of data and it is extremely slow. And I really do mean slow.
Our room was neat and tidy with a new TV, new air conditioning, modern bathroom, new washing machine, new fridge and nice and close to the pool
Maybe the bed could have been a little more comfortable because it sagged towards the middle
Overall, we were happy and would definitely visit here again in the future

The reviews I read were unfair. I stayed 3 nights with my daughter at this property and was pleasantly surprised. We stayed in unit 28, on third floor. Yes, there were stairs so be prepared. The bathroom was brand new. The unit was spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable. It had everything we needed. The carpark was very tight but adequate and the pool was lovely. Best of all was the location, close to beach and Cavill Ave. Give this property a go.

Thanks so much for your nice words and fair comments. Some people commented on this site were not ever our guests. We are so sad to see that happened but seems we can't do anything to it.

Close to the famous Surfers Paradise beach and two blocks from the beach and major attractions (Cavill Ave.). Impressive the contrast of the modern and giant buildings and the beautiful beach. Overlooking the elegant Broadbeach neighborhood.
The owners (Chineses) reside in one of the apartments and have the habit of cooking (fried food) leaving strong smell in the corridors. Large apartment with utensils. Check in only until 5 pm. Wi-fi not good.

When we went into the room it was filthy. Ice from previous guests was left in the fridge. Fridge had old food scraps in it. All glassware and other kitchen items were absolutely disgusting. Pieces of carpet Randomly around the room. Beds were messy and the blankets had hair and bugs in it. Got blamed for breaking a sofa bed when we didn’t even use it or know it existed. Shower had rusty holders in it. Rusty fan that didn’t work properly. Sticky floor and dirty mirrors. After our stay we then got charged a cleaning fee for leaving 5 pieces of confetti on the ground and a birthday cake that was in a plastic container. I work in house cleaning and I know you cannot charge someone a fee for something as little as that. Just Trying to get extra money, many people have said they try to scam you. Not to mention the house cleaner was bare foot with no gloves or proper cleaning equipment. I think I should charge them a cleaning fee. What. A. Joke. Don’t stay here

Be careful booking this place in advance with Booking.com. I booked a 2 bedroom unit for 31st December 2024 to 1st January 2025 for $331 on 23/12/23 on Booking.com. Got a phone call from Trickett Gardens today informing me I needed to cancel the booking as Booking.com had put the apartment on there without their consent and apparently Trickett Gardens doesn't accept bookings more than 12 months in advance. Now today's date is 26th December 2023 and I looked on Booking.com and guess what they have the same apartment able to be booked for $604. Funny how apparently you can't book 12 months in advance but yet they one available for an extra $250+ that you can book for the same dates as originally mentioned. Sounds like a lot of rubbish to me and more like they wanted me to cancel so they could up the price. We will now spend our money elsewhere.

Hi Lisa as we mentioned booking.com made a mistake on releasing the availabilities over 1 2 months in future and at the incorrect pricing. This wasn't done by us intentionally. I am so sorry how you felt. You may call us to book direct a bit closer to the date and see if the manager can give you a great deal. We have now limited to 6 months bookings now.

This place is fantastic. I relaxed here for 4 nights and enjoyed every minute. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything that I needed. One of the best things about my stay was the location. I parked my car in the underground carpark and didn't have to move it all the time I was there. The beach, attractions, restaurants and much more are all available within easy walking distance. The tram stops 400m away so you can take a trip to places further afield easily. Oh and I forgot you are not stuck in a high rise with air con- you can open the windows - you have fresh air!!! Tamara, the manager, was always at the end of the phone when needed and was very friendly and accomodating. I will definately be staying here again when visiting the Gold Coast.

The room they gave us was disgusting. The bed only had a sheet on it and the blankets in the cupboard were nasty. The kitchen looked old and dirty. No coffee or tea provided. The bathroom was covered in mold from ceiling to floor. Black mold was everywhere. Cant believe they charged full price for room. There was a notice in kitchen stating you had to remove all of your rubbish when leaving as they would charge a large fee if they had to do it.

Great location. That apartment was very comfortable and clean. Management was friendly and helpful. It’s close to the beach, restaurants and cafes. There’s a light rail close by so it’s also easy to travel to other parts of the Gold Coast.

We booked last minute online on Dec 31st to celebrate New Year’s eve at surfers paradise and we had a great deal. We call the reception/front desk to double check our booking and yes we have it and was informed that if we came late someone will still assist us and we can just get the key from there. Leonie, the one in charge who talk to us and booked us was very helpful and friendly as well as the night manager who assisted us.We will certainly recommend this place to our friends and family to come and want to enjoy surfers paradise and the beach.

For a overnight stay, just somewhere to rest for the night, this place will be sufficient. The room badly needs updating. The bathroom cupboards are chipping away at the bottom and the room itself smelt old. Sink taps were loud and noisy. Oven needed a clean. Not appealing at all. A renovation in this particular room is needed. Gave one star for location.

No, Gold Coast Aquatic Centre is in Southport.
Yes. I think somewhere someone said $200, but we were asked $100. Can either pay cash or via credit card.
I don't think wifi was free. Carparking is free but take a small car as difficult entry to carpark for the bigger cars. Wouldn't stay there again. Lots of better places to stay at than Tricketts
I was in ground floor apartment near pool and had no noise issue
