We stayed at Surfers Beachside Holiday apartments for the Broadbeach Blues festival and they rated a 10 out of 10 for location and access to Broadbeach, Surfers and the Gold Coast. How good was it to step out the front door and turn right for Northcliffe Beach only 100mtrs away or turn left and walk 2 mins to the tram which took us directly to the Blues Festival. Everything was so convienent and easy. Accommodations and facilities were great - 2 bedroom aptmnt with good beds, great kitchen, nice lounge area and great balcony views. My only negative was that the underground secure carpark - allocated space - was just a bit too squeezey for my Jeep Grand Cherokee.

A tidy and clean holiday apartment not far (about 10 min walk) from the main strip of Surfer’s Paradise. We only stayed for 2 nights but wished we had stayed longer!
Upside: Clean, tidy, comfortable and quiet. The apartment had a fully-eauipped kitchen, washer and dryer which were what my family needed for our stay.
The only downside was that the bedroom was not air-conditioned (only the living room was) which we needed as the weather was a little hot during our visit but it was not a huge problem for us.
Will definitely book this place again on our next visit!

Hubby and I had the most wonderful 12 nights on the 14th floor, and I enjoyed several swims in the nicely heated pool. The apartments are in a great position, only 3 minutes to the nearest tram stop, and within walking distance to Cavill Ave and the beachfront night markets. Mark and Lynne were the perfect hosts, always friendly and helpful, and we felt warmly welcomed from our first communication with them. The bed was super comfy, as was the lounge suite, and the kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom looked as if it had been recently renovated, and we appreciated the washing machine and dryer. The views were outstanding and there was always something to look at: whales breaching, surfers, kayakers, airforce jets zipping past, and towards the hinterland there were lovely sunsets. We would not hesitate to recommend Surfers Beachside to anyone looking to spend time one the Gold Coast.

Do NOT stay in apartment 605!! The apartment needs a full renovation. It is dirty, falling apart, and dangerous. The mirror sliding door is broken and almost off its frame, and the fans do not work in the bedrooms. The air conditioner only blows warm air and needs replacing. The lounge is disgusting, peeling, and leaves black stuff all over your clothes and on the floor. The toilet seat is broken in one bathroom, the seat slides to one side, and God only knows what is on the roller blinds, mould and other stains. There is honestly too much to mention, look at the photos I have provided!

What a perfect holiday. 10 mins walk to Cavill, 5 minutes drive to Broadbeach, 30 minute drive to theme parks. Apartments are fully self contained with dishwasher, washer and dryer. We had plates, cooking utensils and a clothes hanger. We had an amazing time, staff were brilliant and all facilities were clean and well maintained. Perfect views & a short 2 minute walk to the beach. Our unit did have quite an old couch but one was on order. It didn't affect our stay at all. Give these guys a call! Highly recommend.

Aside from being incredibly rude, these people have absolutely no ethics or understanding. We were extremely excited to go on our family holiday, first in 18 months and of course we experience a country lockdown. I understand this is to no fault of the property NOR is it a fault of ours. Rather than agree to defer our stay, even take a cancellation fee, they take the FULL $2200 and then proceed to yell at me about defaming them on social media! I explained to the man he had the wrong person, I was simply ringing to ask about moving my dates or cancelling till borders re opened and once he calmed down and stopped yelling at me about keeping him up all night ??! he finally realised he had the wrong person. Woops.... Turns out, its what he wanted... more complaints. He then proceeded to tell me that I wouldn't get any of my money back or a new date and he was done talking to me and hang up the phone. Thanks to the lovely people at this property my family will not be able to rebook our holiday anywhere once borders re open since they have kept the lot. Can I suggest you don't book here if you want any peace of mind, they don't care about their guests and they certainly have no ethics.

Response from Lynne Kocass, General Manager at Surfers Beachside Holiday Apartments
Responded 1 Jul 2021
We have been Managing Surfers Beachside for 19 years. Unfortunately you are reviewing the wrong building. Firstly I have no booking cancel to the value of your amount, you say 'He' which would only be my husband Mark and I can tell you now, he doesn't have any involvement with our bookings. Due to Covid cancellations, I refund all money as you said, not the guests fault nor ours. Are you booking through an Airbnb? Kind Regards Lynne Manager

Very good value apartment. I would happily stay here again. Apartment was clean and refreshed, in a fantastic location.
Short walk to so much. Caval ave is a 1km walk away, tram stop less than 200m and beach 100m. Plenty of other activities and places to eat near by.
The building is old and the maintenance is a little behind which won't affect most people. Expected for the price. For us it was one light in the bathroom and a towel rail falling off.
The apartment was surprisingly updated. And better than expected for the price.
The kitchen is basic and sufficient for most people.
We were very happy and would stay here again.
Note this end of the gold coast will be noisy Friday and Saturday night. Lots of people having fun. Didn't affect us.

We had a great unit, with 180 degree views, but sadly a unit block os likely to block out most of the ocean views once built. We had a 2 bedroom, with a queen with ensuite, and a room with twin beds.
Kitchen was well equipped, the ensuite was good, but second bathroom (with a bath) was a combined laundry). Great to have a washing machine and dryer.
Car parking was allocated underneath, and surf club is a 2 minute walk. Walk to Caville avenue is about 6-10 minutes. Tram is 2 minute walk.
We would stay again.

Cannot recommend enough! The views are amazing. Rooms are huge and clean. Photos dont do this place justice. Pool n spa are cleaned early every morning. Reception staff are amazing. So friendly n welcoming. They make u feel right at home and nothing is too much trouble. If i could give 10 stars i would. After jetstar cancelling 4 flights and one emergency landing back to bris airport, i can still look back and say we had an amazing time because of this place. Thank you so much for looking after us guyz. You are amazing!

I stayed there with my family for 3 nights, and i found this apartment great, we were close enough to the restaurants and night-life but a nice 10 minute walk back to the apartment. It was close to the beach, had some great viewsfrom the deck. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Parking was great underneath in the car park the parking spot size was a comfortable size. Lynne down in reception was exceptional. She was efficient, friendly and extrememy helpful. When i come back to surfers i will definatelly be staying here and i will also recommend to my friends that they do as well. Thank you
