When I say absolute beachfront… I mean absolute beachfront!! There is nothing separating you from the spectacular ocean view. We just recently stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment and the room was very spacious and clean. It had everything we needed. And very family friendly. The location is great with a 5-10 min walk to heart of Broadbeach and about a 20 walk along the beachfront to Cavil Ave. Amber the manager was amazing and very accommodating. We will definitely be back next year

We were a large group of 14 in the Gold Coast for a Golf Trip. The rooms were all great, the location perfect, you can wander into Surfers or Broadbeach in around 15 or you can use the light rail for those who think that's a bit far. You are "on the beach" and the views from the balconies are spectacular. Nice pool downstairs and a great BBQ and Spa area on the rooftop for relaxing after Golf. Local Cafe for breakfast, Bowls Club and BWS all within 5 minutes walk. We have already rebooked for next year. Special shout out to Amber who was a great help in getting everything organised and letting us know about all the local surrounds.

This was our 34th stay at “Viscount” since 1996 and it is just an awesome place to stay with everything at your fingertips.
Located at the southern end of Surfers Paradise you enjoy the wonderful facilities it offers, heated swimming pool, rooftop spa and sauna along with the rooftop outdoor BBQs which give you views to die for.
No roads to cross to access the fantastic beach. A walk way (the Oceanway) north and south along the beach for as far as the eye can see makes walking a dream to many locations.
Close to shops, restaurants and the Convention Centre with transport (bus and G:link) at your doorstep. The bus (705) will take you as far north as Seaworld Theme Park with all the stops along the way including Surfers Paradise, Main beach, Marina Mirage, the Sheraton etc.
Fully self-contained spacious apartments with secure car park with easy access, nestled between two of the best (in our opinion) Surf Clubs, Northcliffe and Kurrawa, which are both great for family dining.
The only thing missing is You!

The apartment was in a great location and the design of the apartment was ok. It certainly wasn’t covid clean. The cleanliness and service were a very low standard. The apartment needs a lot of tlc and a very thorough clean. All drawers had some sort of dirt dust or food bits in them. Inside the fridge was not clean. The last straw was the fresh blood on the main bedroom bed. This is when we called management. After pointing out the issues a cleaner came in with one cloth to wipe out drawers and change Doona cover. Oh and the 1 bedroom ac filter looked like it had never been cleaned and the en-suite toilet was dirty with urine. We then had a conversation with the manager who said repeatedly that the moisture in the apartment was to blame 🤷♀️ and then we were blamed for the blood on the bed. The advertised heated pool wasn’t working. Nor was there wi-fi in the apartment (the excuse was the 40 y/o building) and the main ac in the living area didn’t work (but it’s under warranty and would be fixed, just not during our stay). FYI BYO loo paper, detergent and more. To sum up, a very over priced apartment for the quality. I do not completely blame the cleaners as I know they have very little time allocated for each apartment.

hi 92kayleenm, Thank you for taking the time to review us. We're glad to hear you enjoyed our beachfront location. Unfortunately, the NBN outage which was throughout Surfers Paradise, occurred during your stay. This was very unexpected and was out of our control. As mentioned on our website and on your booking email, our apartments are self-contained and include a welcome pack which includes toilet paper, detergent and more to get you started during your stay until you are able to get to the shops should you require more. This is standard for all self-contained accommodation. We can confirm that the heated pool was open and functioning during your stay. The pool is heated to take the chill out, but is still cool compared to our spa. We appreciate your feedback regarding the air conditioning. This was inspected as soon as we were informed. Our air conditioners are professionally cleaned annually as recommended and were last done in December. Due to the unprecedented weather we have been having, the increased rain and humidity have caused the air conditioners to dehumidify more than usual which has caused the filters to require cleaning sooner than normal. The filters were cleaned promptly upon inspection. We do appreciate you bringing this to our attention. In regards to the malfunction with the living room air conditioner, we can confirm that this was attended by a technician the next day who reported that it required a part replaced, and that the unit is still under warranty and would be rectified ASAP. Unfortunately this wasn’t during your stay. The 2nd airconditioner in the bedroom was operational and the offer of an additional fan for the lounge was declined. We will be sure to pass your comments regarding the cleanliness onto our cleaning staff. Viscount on the Beach aim to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and so we will take on board your comments to ensure our usual high standards are maintained. One of the best apartment on the coast, right on the beach, close to both Surfers and Broadbeach, great customer service and spa / sauna on rooftop bbq views! The room is huge as well with ensuite and main bathroom. The front desk allowed us to also leave our luggage all day whilst our flight left late at night. Perfect!

Great views and perfect location. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment (level 4) which was within walking distance between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. The resort itself was great - the rooftop spa and BBQ areas were perfect, and whilst they were at full capacity, you wouldn’t think so as we never had to share the spa with anyone and the pool was never crowded. Loved that! We slept with the doors open and the sound of waves crashing all night was bliss. You wouldn’t get to experience that if you were staying in the more populated areas around the GC.

What a great place to stay. Beachfront Viscount, Unit 9, was superb. This is a boutique building that is absolute beachfront. Most places on the Gold Coast say they are beachfront but you have to cross a road, but not this place, it is right on the beach, literally ! The building has been renovated and improved a lot and now looks good, very clean tidy and modernised despite being an older building. Thoroughly recommend Unit 9, great renovation and fully equipped, 3 spacious bedrooms and a brand new kitchen. Building Manager is very helpful and friendly as well.

Our stay was a long awaited family holiday involving adults ranging in age from 22 to 61 and two small children. Our whole group had a tremendous holiday which in no small way was made all the better by our Superior three bedroom apartment. The ocean views were spectacular and our outlook of Surfers Paradise to the north was beautiful. The apartment was modern, well furnished and equiped and very comfortable. A great place to stay. Right on the beach with magnificent views of the ocean, with the bonus of whale migration back north which we could see clearly from our balcony. A fantastic location with great facilities! A walk along the beach followed by a warm rooftop spa made for a great holiday. The three bedroom unit meant our extended family could join us. The staff were friendly and so helpful. We will be back!

thank you for your enquiry. The bedrooms in the two bedroom apartments do not have air conditioning units. Most do have air conditioning but only in the living area. The bedrooms have fans only.
